Bland Weird Dull

Today is a weird day, or at least feels like a weird day. It doesn't really feel normal. Mainly because Mark isn't here, Michelle was here when she is uaually at work, and then she left, so now I'm alone. All of these things aren't normal and it's kinda confuses my brain a little bit. I think what I really need to do is just do something that's very familiar and comforting, like get comfortable and watch some That 70's Show, because that will make me feel better.

Yesterday I met my Mom and she took me to lunch at Molly Blooms. I ordered chicken fingers and fries, which were amazingly yummy, and my Mom ordered a chicken wrap thing that she says was yummy, so I believe her. So she paid for lunch, and while we were there, she lent me her new digital camera, which is this really, really nice 8 mega pixel beast of a camera (it takes pictures at 3264x2448) for when I was going to the zoo (which we aren't anymore) and she also gave me her cell phone so I could put the number on my resumes, so that when people call me for job interviews, I can talk to them directly rather than using my Mom's home phone number or Mark's cell phone.

Marle!

I've been having fun learning how to use her new camera, and mainly taking pictures of my three cats, basically because they're interesting to take pictures of, while things like walls, or floors aren't nearly as interesting to look at. Since they are always in different places, different poses and situations, it gives me something to take pictures of that isn't that boring. I'd really like to take the camera out places, and take pictures of the area, especially places that I see in my every day habits, because the idea of capturing things the way I see them so other people can see... how I see them... would be cool.. yeeeaahh.

A few days ago Michelle saw a flea on the bed, which is strange because I haven't seen a flea in... a long ass time, maybe over a year, maybe two years. Then today I noticed a flea on Kairi's chin as she was laying on the bed, so I went and looked at Marle and checked out her neck and sure enough there was a flea or two in the white part of her neck fur, so I talked to my Mom and she ordered the awesome advantage flea stuff for 10lb cats and under off ebay (since to get it normally you have to make a vet appointment.. $100+, then buy it off him.. $50+) so we got 12 vials of it for $35, in the box, brand new. So with that, I decided to give the cats worm medication, because I had noticed traces of worms on Marle, and I was putting off treating them because it's not free, and giving cats pills isn't happy fun time. But I had some pills in the closet, so I decided to give them their first dose of the pills today, then buy more so that the next two weeks there will be enough to finish the treatment. Anyway, I got the idea to take out their favorite treats (the kind that I can just touch the bag and they all run and meow) and I crumbled the treat up, then mushed it on each side of the pill, and the cats just ate them and wanted more. I gave three to Kairi, three to Tidus and four to Marle since she's the only one I noticed had worms. Michelle is picking up another box of pills and next week they get one grey one each. Hopefully all my kitties will be perfectly happy and healthy in a month.

Kairi!

I've been playing Pokemon a lot again, and while I should be playing Fire Red a lot, I've actually went back to playing Pearl the most (almost exclusively). There are a few reasons that I think I ended up doing that. I played Fire Red a lot the first two days I got it (and I'm half way through actually), but the problem is that in order to get all three starters into Pearl (Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle) I need to start a new game, pick the starter, save it, then transfer the starter over to Pearl, and then start a new game in Fire Red, and I didn't think of this when I first started Fire Red, so I'm playing the game knowing that I'll need to start a new game in order to complete my Pearl pokedex, so I'm playing the game knowing that nothing I do really matters, and that it doesn't matter if I complete my pokedex, and it doesn't matter which Pokemon I catch because I'm just going to start a new game anyway. Things like that really discourage me, and when I play a game I need to know that it's for a reason, even if it's just to have proof of what I've accomplished, but in this case, I could catch all 150 Pokemon and it wouldn't matter because it'd all be erased anyway. So I think what I need to do is a) catch all 150 of Pearls Pokemon (I'm at 137 right now) so that I have no reason to play Pearl instead of Fire Red, b) take three days and transfer each starter to Pearl (you can only trade once a day) and then c) after transfering the starters, start a new game that will be my permanent game, so I can try to complete the pokedex and everything I do matters. That's my plan... I still need Leaf Green (hopefully Michelle will get it for herself soon) so that I can get the ten or so Pokemon that are exclusive to that title, but I can worry about that after I've completed the game. Then after all of that... we need to worry about Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire :)

That about wraps up my last day or two. I think I'm going to lay down and watch some That 70's Show, try and avoid getting a headache, and begin executing my plan to start enjoying Fire Red. That sounds good to me.

One day this week I'll beat Pokemon Diamond, and then I can be ready for Leaf Green!
