Nothing much happened today, but I still feel like writing, so that's what I'm doing. I woke up around 1pm, played some Max Payne 1 and 2, and started organizing and going through the drawers in my desk, taking breaks every so often to talk to Dylan. About three quarters of the way through the organizing, Emily came online, so I talked to her. It ended up making me sad, just because it reminds me how far away she is... for those of you who don't know, she's been in Mexico for a week, and still has a week to go. I only get to speak to her online once every three days or so, and it really really sucks, more than words can describe.

I completed Max Payne 2 on Normal difficulty, for the second time in total, but it really reminded me exactly how amazing this game is. It really is one of the most solid, attractive, interesting, compelling and most importantly FUN PC games I've ever played, and I've played many many games. The only shortcoming of the game is that its well... short. But it offers you the ability to try it on increased difficulties once you've completed it, which brings some replayability to the game. There are five game modes in total, three of them being difficulties, and two other being quite interesting spin offs. The graphics are still the best I've seen, and they run amazingly smooth, even at completely maxed settings. The sound is so far beyond amazing. All the voice over, sound effects, rain and lightning and thunder.. it's just totally immersive and you just get sucked RIGHT INTO the game. Anyway, the bottom line is that if you call yourself a fan of games, at any level, this is a must play. For the casual gamer, it offers a very well done game, that won't take a lifetime to complete and you will be impressed. For hardcore gamers, it offers multiple difficulty settings, spin off settings, and many hidden jokes and other fun things. BUY THIS GAME.
Nothing really much to talk about today. I didn't want to impose on Ally for staying at her house tonight, as I wanted her to be able to make decisions without taking into account the babysitting of me... so I stayed home, but was asked out to go bowling with my girls, and Ian, so I said what the hell and Michelle came and picked me up and we went to Royal Bowl. It was really fun to hang out with everyone, especially Ian. I'm glad that we're going to be hanging out more, 80's night every other sunday and he said he'd try to come out to the next cybernaut, so I'm excited. The bowling didn't last THAT long, only about an hour or so.. I bowled the highest though, which is sad because my highest was 103 or something hehe, it's fun playing with equally poor bowlers, cause then it's just more fun. There were a few times we'd just laugh at each other for the stuff we'd do :)
Today wasn't that eventful, as Emily and I didn't really do much except lounge around with a few exceptions. Emily awoke early, and had to go meet a friend to retrieve some crap from school, and it was really early and I was still heavily under the influence of my sleeping pills, so I just rolled over and went back to sleep. I know she wanted me to come with her, and I knew she was disappointed/mad at me, but I was so out of it/dizzy/confused that I couldn't care. When I woke up though, I felt bad, but you should never EVER ask anything of a sleeping person, they'll always answer whatever needs to be answered for them to get more sleep :)
Yesterday after Emily's bath, we headed over to JJs, where we hung out for a bit and just chillaxed. We eventually ate supper, and then went back upstairs. After a bit more chillaxing, listening to Finger Eleven, we decided to go out and take some pictures... well, JJ take some pictures, and run around and have fun. We did that for probably two hours or so, and headed home (not after a close encounter with a racoon mind you). You can of course view some of the photos captured that night at JJ's excellent Deviant Art page! GO NOW I COMMAND THEE!
Let's start with my birthday. There were two aspects that stand out. It being a fun day, and people actually knowing it was my birthday and going out of there way to make me feel good. Both things really surprised me!
