I've been suffering from boredom lately... and it's not like I don't want to be doing things, I do; it's just that there really isn't much for me to do. I'm sitting here at home waiting for TNS to call me to tell me when my training day this week is, and I've put all of the clothes into bags that I can, and emptied my desk and I dunno... there is just not that much stuff for me to do. Makes for quite a boring day to say the least... and doesn't really give me much to write about, although I've said to people before that it's not what you do that makes the writing interesting, it's how your write it.
I think I'm going to keep this entry short, as I don't really want to go into eeeeeverything that's been going on / happening, but there was something I wanted to point out because it both impressed me and amused me. John Stewert recently went on a CNN show called Crossfire, which usually features two people with opposite opinions and they 'debate' back and forth, but they asked John to come on, probably thinking he would just make everyone laugh and so on, but when he came on, he confronted both the hosts with jawdroppingly realistic and straightforward questions, and you could tell they had no idea how to handle it. It was a really amazing thing to watch, as John Stewert ripped them both a new asshole, especially the one pansy who wears a bow-tie. Anyway, I have the torrent file to the full episode (commercials included! yes!!) so if you have bit torrent installed (http://www.bittorrent.com), just click and run this torrent file and it will start downloading. The file is under a 100mb, so anyone with rogers or sympatico will be able to get it in under a half hour probably, and people on dialup shouldn't even attempt. Anyway, without further hesitation, here's the torrent file!

pssh, one.hand?Happy Turkey day to anyone who is Canadian and reading this... as for any Americans reading this, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but yes, in between building our igloos and cutting down trees, we do in fact celebrate thanksgiving. I spent the day at my grandpas house, where he cooked a big turkey dinner, with mashed potatos and gravy and corn and veggies.. mmmm; there were pickles and olives on the side, and colslaw and my moms special spinich egg thing. Emily and I awoke to a knocking on my door, as Ben was signaling to me that the phone was for me; it was my Mom calling to wake me up. It seems I had woke up at 10, as expected (I had set the alarm) but I guess I got up, turned it off and stumbled back to bed, all while I was still asleep (you know the 'turn the alarm off' state you get in the morning?) because I don't remember doing it, but there is just no other explaination. So anyway, my Mom told me I'd have about a half hour to get ready, which I thought was going to be a bit rushed but I said that I was still wanting to go, so I hung up the phone and went back into my room and woke up Emily. I informed her of the time we had and she quickly got up and proceeded to get ready, and I sat down and ate chips :P
