It smells like paint, and this might be because they painted my door. I had to lock the cats in the bedroom so that they could fill my apartment with the smell of wet paint! Hoorray!

For a lot of today I played God of War and made some progress. I got past where I was stuck and got quite a bit farther and until I got stuck in another room and turned it off in more frustration. I kind of wish that every single play session didn't end with me screaming and that I actually just stopped because a lot of time had gone by. I played a little bit of Fable as well, but I keep forgetting that the game isn't that amazing, and I find that I get bored after five minutes.

The 1Up Show and 1Up Yours (so far) were good this week. Lots of Square Enix coverage so that's probably why I enjoyed it more than usual.

I played a little God of War tonight and made a bit of progress but got to a hard part where it just wasn't fun because I'd just die all the time, so what's the point. I was just getting frustrated and remembered why I had put the game down and never went back to it.

Today has been a pretty big downer for me, and I can't really put into words why. It may be self inflicted... I'm not sure really, but no matter the cause, I just can't wait for today, and even tomorrow to be over. I think I need a fun day like Sunday to get my spirits back up.

We'll watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report, play a bit of Guitar Hero, and then I'll be alone again, and I guess I just feel empty, and I'm 99% sure that there is nothing I can do about it.

My Season Finale

All the TV shows I watch are ending! It's all coming to an end and that's sad! Like Scrubs was supposed to be over for good but got renewed a week ago for a seventh season, so I was expecting some huge season finale (because it was supposed to be a series finale) and it was entirely disappointing and could've easily been a normal episode... overall I was pretty disappointed with the season. It might be because of how many I've seen, but I don't think it is, I think that the writing has changed. It's just gag after gag and most of it isn't funny, where before it was serious themes with humor mixed in, and I loved that. A half hour comedy that can make you cry is a good show.

Ally and Darcy came over last night and we watched the finale of America's Next Top Model and we thought it was kind of weird that no one won it, and it just ended with no winner. We tried to watch the finale of the Office after but some douche encoded it and upped it without checking if it worked, so I had to redownload a proper and it was already late so we just played a bit of Guitar Hero and then they took off.

Where's The Electricity?

My weather widget

It says that it's really hot out... it says that it's the hottest it's been this year, and yet I'm freezing. I've had to put on a sweat shirt, and I'm still cold. It sucks that the heat just doesn't come in here, most likely because the sun doesn't shine in, and also because it's very, very rare that any kind of breeze comes in, so the warm air doesn't flow in either. I'm sitting here staring at the sky waiting to see some big and dark scary cloud that will bring in a horrid, tormenting thunder storm, and while there is quite a bit of wind, I feel doubtful that such a storm will arrive. I was promised a storm yesterday too, and earth failed to deliver, so today is my last chance for a nice warm storm that I can enjoy and feel safe under.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Yes, today, May 13th is my Mom's birthday and she's turning 28, so everyone can wish her a Happy Birthday! As anyone who's ever met my Mom knows, she's the most kind, selfless, thoughtful and intelligent person in the world; a person who would never say anything hurtful on purpose, and someone who would stand behind you no matter what. Every time I talk to my Mom I feel comforted, even if we're just talking about how awesome Heroes is or how funny House is, because I know that I have the potential inside of me to be as strong and intelligent as her, and that brings me great comfort, and motivates me to be a better person. Yesterday we drove to Hamilton to visit my Grandpa to have a celebratory dinner for her birthday.

It's almost supper time, and tonight is Spaghetti night! I had a weird tasting seasoned chicken leg in shake'n'bake and mashed potatoes, so tonight is tomatoes and spaghetti cause it's been a few days.

I went to bed last night with a pretty bad headache, one of those special headaches that are especially painful and difficult to lay down because it's more of a sharp pain than your average booming headache. I couldn't lay comfortably without my head hurting, and I knew that I had to sleep or else I'd just be in pain all night, so I got up and took two Tylenol and a sleeping pill and laid down. While I was still in pain, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep pretty quickly because I don't really remember much after that point.
