Christmas Dinner Success

I just had a wonderfully cleansing and relaxing bath, and I feel fresh, but sadly I still have a headache, still feel really tired, and am pretty uncomfortable due to those things.

I woke up really early this morning, 6:15am or so, and made some toast and coffee, and cut up an apple. I called Ben to make sure he was up, and he was, so he was on his way to pick me up. We headed to Futureshop first, and unexpectedly the parking lot was full and there was people everywhere. From Futureshop, I ended up walking away with a Samsung 20" monitor for $90, and a logitech mouse and keyboard set, that is bluetooth, so requires no usb connection which opens up more ports on my Mac. After Futureshop, we drove over to Best Buy, which was equally as busy, and walked away with tons and tons of blurays, more than I should probably list, and a few games. All in all, it was a successful outing, and maybe I spent more money than I should have, but I'll try not to worry about it, and just enjoy the stuff I got.

I ended up watching Night at the Museum 2 while I was unpacking all the blurays and setting up the monitor and keyboard and mouse, and after that I laid down for a nap for a couple hours.

After the nap, I got dinner as prepared as possible, and eventually the family came over at 3pm, started the turkey and we just hung out until it was ready. Turkey, stuffing, veggies, mashed potatos, corn, gravy... it was yummers. We had chocolate swirl cheese cake for dessert, and eventually everyone left, and Michelle and I watched a movie because my headache made me too uncomfortable to play WoW or anything, so we ended up watching The Shawshank Redemption, a movie which I had never seen, but knew it was awesome (rated as the #1 movie on IMDb) and that it was... I really enjoyed it.

After the movie I had a nice long bath, got out, and then started writing this. I'm much too tired to do much of anything at this point, and my headache is starting to drive me crazy. I kind of want to do something to just zone out but, like I've said a million times, my nagging headache will stop me from enjoying anything at this point.

Tomorrow I've got nothing planned, and it's my first day off to do nothing at all, and nothing at all I will do. Looking forward to it...
