Boxer (not The National variety)

This might be the first time in fifteen or seventeen years or something that I can say that I am sitting here in boxers. I remember when I was a kid (I guess I can legitimately say that now) at some point in the summer or summers I wore a pair of boxers as my pijamas because my bedroom was on the second floor, but I've never wore them as underwear, and since that summer in my childhood, I haven't worn them since. These aren't mine actually, they're Bekki's, and I put them on because it's just so uncomfortably hot, and I don't own any shorts or cool clothing at all. I feel like a slob, sitting here in boxers and no shirt, practically naked, but I'm alone (besides the cats) so it's okay.

I was pretty damn tired today, as predicted... I'm not sure why I didn't care last night - didn't care that I'd be tired, because I sure as hell cared when I woke up this morning and felt like death. Even though I was tired, the day went pretty well. I had a checkpoint and final review in Direct X and a midterm in Java. From 8am to about 10am we sat in Direct X and I mostly read Feast for Crows, and eventually we left to search for food as we were all hungry (Calen, Mathew and myself). We walked across the street to the pizza place, and a couple other things there but they were all closed, so we just got a tiny snack from the variety store, and sat at a table outside. It was kind of relaxing, and nice to get some sun, as weird as it is for me to say that. We sat here until it was time to relocate to our midterm room, which was close by.

The java midterm was easy, although time consuming. I got 80% (an A) on the quiz portion, and I'm confident I got 100% on the coding portion. The coding portion was a three step process, the first two being related. I had to create a pizza ordering GUI, and then add listeners to it so it functioned properly. Thirdly, I had to access a database and display results based on the users input. It was pretty easy compared to every other class this semester.

After school I had a nap until 4pm or so, got up just as Bekki was leaving for work (sadly) and I spent the afternoon working on uTunes, which was fun. I had a chicken caesar for dinner with strawberries and cream for dessert. I beat a Civ V game, and programmed some more, and just had a bath. A pretty relaxing evening really, and while it is hot, I'm not too uncomfortable really, so all in all a good day, minus the tiredness.

How have I been feeling lately you ask? That's a good question, as I suppose I've been too busy to really think about it. I guess I've been good, minus feeling super stressed about work and work related things, if I ignore that, or eliminate that one aspect, the rest of the time I'm doing pretty good. Due to the heat, I think I've been a lot more irritable, a lot less patient, and I feel as though I've been bickering or picking fights way more often and easily with everyone around me, and I hate it, hate that feeling, hate the fights, hate arguing, but I can't help it, or it just happens... but... that'll pass. Urgh.

Tomorrow is two exams, one midterm and one exam... should be lots of fun!
