Excessive

The good, the bad and the ugly today. What I mean by that is that there were good things, bad things and just ugly things today, a wide range of feelings and experiences, it's a bit hard to process each one individually as they all conflict with each other.

Let's start with the ugly, and that's just the fact that school is a wee bit overwhelming right now. I have endless projects I need to work with, and I'm struggling with balancing working on that and staying sane by having time to relax a little bit. Add in the fact that actually sitting through class is brutally boring, almost sleep inducing, and it makes school very difficult to enjoy or become immersed in. I just got another project today, so I've got to sit down and plan out some time, so I can have it done well ahead of time.

The bad would be that today we found out that Kairi has cancer in her ear, and that there were a few options as far as treating it, the only reasonable one is to hope it doesn't spread and treat her ear with normal medicine if it irritates her with itching and whatever. The other options were removing her entire ear canal and ear, which was $2000 and would be very traumatic for her, and the other is steroid treatments, which would also probably screw her up in a ton of different ways. I'm trying to stay optimistic, and keeping it in my mind that it won't spread, that her ear doesn't hurt and she is perfectly happy and will live a normal life until she makes that final transformation into a strange yet beautiful cat-human hybrid and colonize the moon.

The good would be Bekki graduating today, well.. I don't know if thats the technical term, but today was her last exams ever, and she's now officially done school, opening up her time to do other things and to explore more personal hobbies instead of having to spend all of her time reading and studying, she can now find other interests, like games, reading... whatever... anything! I'm very proud of her, and excited to see what she chooses to do with her time, and hope she doesn't feel paralyzed by her sudden increase in freedom of choice.

I've got to get up and go into school tomorrow because of a stupid in class quiz, and then I've got to get home, eat something of significance and then head to work for the night, which leads into Saturday and Sunday, which is more work (which is okay, I need money so bad).

I've been playing a bit of Company of Heroes, Stalker and... Chrono Trigger. Been having some difficulty relaxing these last couple days... just my time of the month I think. I'll keep trying though... merh.
