Woohoo! Ladder rapage!
First bit of news is that Ben and I are now ranked 22 on the 2v2 Ladder. Also we just got to Level 11. We lost tonight for the first time in 28 games. It wasn't because the other people were better either it was because they caught me away from my base twice creep hunting. It was our bad luck that lost the game not their skill... I'd love a rematch but it's all anonymous matchmaking though so the chances of that happening are very slim. So Ben plays Orc and I play Night Elf and we've got a very very concrete build order that we've perfected to a science. He get's a Farseerer and I get a Demon Hunter (good at stopping hero rushes because of mana burn) and then Ben generally goes Grunts a few Head Hunters and eventually Shamans with bloodlust. I get a few archers and then lots of Huntresses upgrading along the way. If the game is against tough opponants I eventually get Druid of the Claw's with roar to tip the scale in our favour and if needed I'll get a few Hipogryphs for air support. So far it's working almost perfectly... losing only once in 30 games. When we lose it's usually due to a bad luck happening such as being stuck behind moonwells and not being able to get out or not having a town portal scroll and my army is out creep hunting... stuff like that. It's extremly fun though and I hope to get even higher tomorrow night.
Linzie came over at 1:30pm or so today and woke me up with kisses... what could possibly be better than that? Nothing! Getting woken by kisses from your girlfriend is awesome let me tell you. I got dressed and had some breakfast and fucked around on the computer (I think anyway kids... I'm getting old) and blah blah blah the normal stuff. I can't remember if I went out a lot today or not but I think I remember buying groceries at some point. We got food for my mom; cheese salad dressing and orange juice. I also got a Big Mac Meal (Super Fuckin' Size (well actually it's Super Fuckin' Biggie but that's for Wendys and I wasn't talking about Wendy's so fuck you. (Wow this is a lot of subparentheses.. I should close them now)).. props to Ben) and I was served by my old friend Jacki who still seems friendly but doesn't seem to acknowlege the fact that we used to be friends... Oh well you can't win them all! She stopped talking to me awhile ago.. I don't think there has even been bad blood between us though so I'm not worried that she hates me or anything. Later in the evening around 9 I ordered a large cheese pizza from my sister (at Pizza Hut which I get for free mind you) and then went out and picked that shit up and asked for a drink and my sister gave me 4 pepsi's... pepsi *spits*... *hugs Coke glass* I meant to ask for extra sauce which may sound weird but I bet your ass it would kick some ass. Oh well next time I'll get it and then I'll write about how much it kicked ass and then I'll throw it all back in you bastards faces.
After we ate some pizza we settled down in my wooden thrones and watched Fight Club. It was Linzie's first time seeing the movie and my (can't count) time seeing it which was cool because we both viewed the movie in very different ways. I was noticing the fact that not once during the movie did both Brad Pitt and Ed Norton ever talk or get looked at the same time ever... or they both never talked at the same time... and how when Ed would talk to Brad with people around they always looked funny... and when Ed told his girlfriend (or Brads girlfriend actually) to leave and get out of his house she got really pissed off cause she was actually sleeping with him and not Brad... very interesting and deep movie bringing up many valid points on the society we live in and just how materialistic we are. I don't mind though my materials bring me great joy.. joy not attainable other ways. Such as... WarCraft III! Fuck living for a meaning than being a consumer I love my consumer status.. it brings happiness and THAT is what life is about.
Anywho.. after the movie Linzie went kiss crazy. By this I mean she kiss raped me. She kept kissing and kissing and damn were they good kisses! It was very enjoyable... they were the kind of kisses that make your stomach feel tingly and stuff... awesome. I mean I always love kissing her and it always feels special but these were very nice kisses! 10 hours tomorrow! 10 hours!! hehe... I dunno what came over here but it was kinda shocking! We were just chillaxing and watching the movie and as soon as it was over she just pounced on me! Oh well one of those nice shocks.
I got some new nail polish for myself. I got new non-sparkly black (I guess I got sick of the same crappy old sparkling nailpolish I've been using for the last three years) and a deep red (sorta crimson... almost crimson.. not quite crimson) color... which goes nicely with the black but if I were to wear is alone with no black to go with it it would look extremely feminine. I also bought some new nail polish remover... man is that shit cheap... For the polish and the remover it only came to 4 bucks or something... cheaper than I had expected. The three nails I'm growing on each hand are actually getting very long... they feel weird sometimes because I'm not used to long nails but it's looks pretty cool. One of my middle finger nails broke which fucked it up because now it's the same size as all my other fingers and doesn't stand out like I had wanted it too... oh well it'll grow back I've just go to keep the other nails short to help with the whole 'standing out' issue.
As for music I'm still listening to mostly Offspring but I haven't been listening to much music at all.. I'm either watching TV or playing WarCraft III (which I listen to the game music in it's very well done by the way)... so I haven't really had a chance to switch bands this week. The Lawrence Arms are still amazingly cool so I listen to them once and while in between Offspring albums (everyone knows Smash is the best). Katatonia is also an awesome band I've been listening to a bit lately.. definitly check them out especially the song The Future of Speech... it's a good example of what they sound like what they can do and it's also my favorite song by them so check it the fuck out (over in the Song List).
Pretty soon there is going to be a Web Design section to this website with chunks of code that will aid you in the construction of a website... mostly created to give Linzie code that she keeps asking me for! The bastard. If you see a link to it it may go dead randomly and may go up and down randomly so don't rely on it or anything. Hopefully I'll finish up the section and upload it by the end of the week. I think there is a link to it on some pages but not on others (subpages and folders are missing I think) so I guess just ignore it for now until it's actually working and appearing on all pages.).
John didn't pick up his computer today... that kinda pissed me off because he gave me such a fucking hard time about delaying it a bit and then when he can actually pick the fucking thing up he doesn't even call about it. What a cock smoker. Maybe he got hit in the head really hard and forgot about the computer... that way I've got money AND a brand new computer! Wo0t! I need that bastard to pay me so I can get Linzie's birthday present. Oh well I've just got to trust the fact that he'll pay me... he's come through pretty well so far... except for the whole 9 month delay in getting the computer to start with.. back in Novemeber he was talking to me about building it... now in July he comes back and tells me he wants it. I made some nice money off it so I'm happy.
Today was Ben's birthday (he's 18 kids 18) so everyone say happy birthday to him. Go.. say it. Hey fuckers? Why don't you say it? No.. he doesn't smell.. what? No I don't think he shit's himse... what? Just leave me alone. I've already bought him his present (minus one part of it) and I plan on going bowling (for very old time sakes) sometime next week probably when I'll also give him his present... hopefully we will be celebrating our entry into the top ten on the ladder too! If you are interested here is the happy birthday post that Ozkar posted in the Pisseria Lounge. Beware as it's not for children's eyes. It is pretty fucking hilarious through so those who share my sense of humour (at least a little) would probably enjoy it also... it's exactly like all the other happy birthday posts Ozkar has made so if you've seen any of them you'll know what to expect.
I'm really happy with the upgrades on my computer not only does it run fast now that I've got the 1.6ghz running but it looks fuckin' snazzy with my new case... it looks all metalic and curvey and stuff.. really nice. WarCraft III games load rather quickly now that I've got the upgrades installed... probably about twice as fast now everyone isn't waiting for me I have to wait for them! But back to the case... I really like the Power LED and the HDD LED that are built into the case they are really large round lights behind a black plastic tint under the reset button and above the power/sleep button. Plus the Floppy drive slot and button are built into the case so there isn't some white (ah racist) fuckin' panel sticking out wrecking the look... even my CD-ROM (Creative 52x) is sorta grey and goes with the grey metallic look which I'm happy with of course. It was well worth the money to upgrade... this will probably last me for awhile... at least until my next few computer jobs when I can upgrade to a P4 2.4 with 2GB of DDR ram.
Man I'm pretty tired yet I want to keep writing.. I'm not sure why but it feels pretty good. I'm kinda running out of things to talk about though so I guess it's sleep for me... arg. Oh well... talk to you all again tomorrow and until then don't die. Bye!
