Woah, It's Cold (and I don't mean the weather)

Stephen Colbert was selected as one of Time Magazine's Top 100 Most Influencial People for 2006, and yet no where can I find why they picked him. Now don't get me wrong, I love Stephen Colbert, and I agree that he's a very different type of person in the media, but I was interested in seeing why something like Time would name him in the Top 100. Sadly I can't really find anything, even at Time's own website, where the article on him is written by some guy from NBC that doesn't even like Stephen, and just says:

My friends tell me that Colbert's mimicry of the narcissistic, preening, puffed-up personalities who inhabit TV news these days is spot on. Personally, I don't see it, but they find him very funny.

The article was only a couple paragraphs long, and the first paragraph wasn't even true, it was just some made up story that the author outright said was a lie. Nothing was mentioned about why Colbert was on the list, or what they considered to be the influencial aspects; very disappointing.

When I woke up today my headache was gone and I felt pretty rested, although still tired. I only got up with the intention of going back to sleep right away, but for some reason I stayed up, although I was bored through out most of the day. The weather is nice to watch, although it's freezing cold, so I have to have all the windows shut and even then my hands are still ice cold.

Tonight Mark and I are trading DVD's and most likely hanging out for a bit... that's all the plans I've got for now. Nothing much else to write about really, so... be gonen with ye!
