Where's The Electricity?

My weather widget

It says that it's really hot out... it says that it's the hottest it's been this year, and yet I'm freezing. I've had to put on a sweat shirt, and I'm still cold. It sucks that the heat just doesn't come in here, most likely because the sun doesn't shine in, and also because it's very, very rare that any kind of breeze comes in, so the warm air doesn't flow in either. I'm sitting here staring at the sky waiting to see some big and dark scary cloud that will bring in a horrid, tormenting thunder storm, and while there is quite a bit of wind, I feel doubtful that such a storm will arrive. I was promised a storm yesterday too, and earth failed to deliver, so today is my last chance for a nice warm storm that I can enjoy and feel safe under.

Yesterday was an enjoyable, fairly relaxing day, that I have no complaints about. Michelle and I went to my Mom's work and hung out until she was off, and then we went to Value-mart to pick up a few things for the rest of the week (ham, snacks, veggies) and spent the afternoon playing Guitar Hero. We generally play the co-op mode, where one of us plays lead guitar (usually me because it's generally a more complex track) and the other plays either bass or rhythm (depending on the song) and we can select the difficulty individually, and the goal of co-op is to get five star ratings on each song, which you do by getting a certain score, and the best way to get high scores is to play on high difficulties since there are more notes as it gets tougher. So we've five starred a few songs, and Michelle is getting better but she's not good enough to five star a few of the earlier songs because she doesn't know how to alt strum, but she'll probably try to learn eventually. I play hard difficulty now and I've beat 6 of the 8 sets, and it's pretty difficult but more fun than ever, since it feels more like you're playing the guitar... going back and playing earlier difficulties usually leaves me feeling pretty bored.

Me and Tidus   Me and Tidus again

The other, other night, with the help of Michelle, I cut off most of my hair (as you can see in the pictures above). I used to be pretty close to looking like a homeless person, my hair was all crazy everywhere and rarely looked managed and was gross and I never felt good or attractive and I was sick of feeling like shit and I figured the first step was to try to get pretty hair again. So, cut it all off, and voila, I feel a bit better. The result of the cut was what you can see in the above pictures.

A day or two after that, I decided to bleach my bangs again because only the tips were still blond because it had been so long since it had been done and I thought it would look good, like it used to. So we spent a night doing that and it went quite blond, white in some places, and it looks pretty good. I had to cut off some more hair on the top because it had been left in as bangs even though it wasn't bangs, but now the top isn't as long as before and it looks kind of weird. I'm still on the fence about whether or not bleaching my bangs was a good idea or not, since I think I liked it better brown, but it's too late now, so I should just try to like it. I have a picture I took of it right when I woke up today, so while it will give an idea of what it looks like, you have to remember that this is what it looks like when I go to bed with wet hair, and get up and take a picture right away without doing anything to it.

Ally came over last night and we watched a bunch of Lost, while eating snacks and making jokes at the screen. Ally called lots of what happened, and so did Michelle, but I think they would both agree that the second half of season 3 get's a fuckton better than the first half. Especially when they start answering a ton of questions we've had through the whole series and it really does a good job of getting you back into the show. She stayed until about 1:30am or 2:00am and went home to sleep, and all in all it was a good Lost night. Hopefully there will be another very soon because I'm excited to talk about the episodes I've seen and I want to share the excitement with others.

Today I got up pretty late, but I went to bed pretty late so it all evens out. When I got up, I talked to Ally a bunch about wanting it to rain, and about things and stuff and how satisfying I am. Eventually I made myself lunch... a ham sandwich, cottage cheese, a pickle, some olives and a Coke. I watched Friends and enjoyed my lunchner, and afterwards I sat back down at the computer and decided to write something, which has lead to this. I'm still waiting for the thunderstorm to come, and I'm still waiting to feel warm in this apartment, two things I'm doubtful about.

As for the rest of the day, I'm pretty unsure of what I'll do. I don't really feel like playing Guitar Hero, and I'm running out of Friends to watch so I don't want to watch too many because I'll run out really fast that way. I've got no where to go and nothing I need to do, so that leaves me with a potentially very boring day. Kairi is sleeping in the underwear drawer, Tidus is sitting in the window, and Marle is sitting in the livingroom window. Maybe Ally will get home soon and we can just talk all afternoon, because that will be enjoyable and keep me busy at the same time! Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure something out, and I suppose I shouldn't complain if I feel pretty good and I'm not upset about anything. I'll just enjoy the moderately temperate day, and sit and look out at the sky, and wait for that big thunderstorm that might be coming.

I think your hair turned out great, and it looks really good. I love how it spikes too. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the day yesterday, I did too.

Glad to see a photo of you after so long! I like your hair bleached, it wakes you up a bit more. but I'm anxious to see it styled with the blonde.
