I Lost Myself in The Sleep!

I kinda lost track of time the last few days because of a pretty strange amount of sleep at weird times, half because my sleep was messed up due to drinking, and then the result of that was going to bed at like 1pm. Anyway, I think everything is back to normal now. I did get up pretty early, but I've taken into consideration the amount of sleep I got yesterday, and I should be able to stay up to a normal bed time of 2 or 3 in the morning.

Yesterday when I wasn't sleeping I watched Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny, and then afterwards I watched Ocean's 11. Both were enjoyable and fun to watch. This morning I woke up at around 7:30am and was really hungry, so I made breakfast and watched Ocean's 12, which was also good.

I've got two things worth mentioning. The first is Score Hero, a website created for Guitar Hero players to compete with scores, and to have a big ranking system. You enter in your score information (score, percentage, notes in a row) and you compete with all the other people for ranks. There are over 50,000 users on it now, so it's pretty fun to compare scores with others. I've been going through expert and improving my scores as I put them online and I'm averaging around rank 2000, which isn't bad I guess. It adds a whole other reason to play.. I found myself getting kinda bored with the game, just because I had finally beat Freebird on Expert and didn't have that much left to accomplish, but now, even getting 10 more points on a song could bump me up ranks, so it adds this whole other aspect to the game. Anyway, here's the link, if you play Guitar Hero, sign up, because it's kickass.

The second thing worth mentioning was also mentioned by Penny Arcade, and it's a cool motivational tool to get chores done. It's kinda like how I used to get satisfaction from checking off a to do list, now your chores are represented by quests, and when you do the chore, you get experience points and stuff, and you compete with friends to get the most. Basically... it makes wanting to do the dishes kinda fun, because it adds a sense of purpose beyond simply being clean, because a lot of the time that isn't enough motivation for some people. It's fun, and helps you want to do stuff, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I'm probably gonna play some games, listen to some music and clean a little. That's my day plan.. we'll see how it goes.
