Back to Work

Uh oh, it's almost time to go back to work after having twelve days off with no work. It kinda sucks to be honest, I've gotten so used to not having to go to that place and deal with things from there that it seems weird to have to go back. However, it should be fairy simple considering my shift is only 7-3 and then Sunday will be simple too, and then I don't have to worry about it for another week. I've yet to decide on if I want to take any extra shifts, and if I do what days, but I'll continue to think about it and try to figure it out.

Today went okay, although it's kind of a lame day in general, because I have class from 8-10 and that's it for the day, so I have to get up early, come to school, and only stay here for two hours, so it's kinda like... ugh. I stayed an hour later to hang out with Rob on his break. We tried to play Starcraft 2 but the lag on the Fanshawe network rendered the game unplayable, and we were eventually dropped from our placement match.

When I got home, I had lunch, and eventually played some StarCraft 2 with Ben, playing random 4v4 games, which are both fun and frustrating at the same time... people are just really bad at the game. It's mind blowing sometimes the things that people do.

As far as my laptop is concerned, my original laptop seems to be working for the most part, and if the screen drops out, I just press the FN and Display button (the button that controls projectors) and it usually comes back, but I got the box to send it away today, so now I'm stuck because I don't want to send it away cause it's working right now, and then at the same time, I know it's either going to get worse or just break outright and it'd be more responsible to get it fixed now while I have this backup laptop. I just don't want to give up my personal settings and games and stuff... but I suppose I really should. I can't send it away until Monday anyway, so I'll see what I can do by then. I just wish I didn't have to deal with this at all.

I'm pretty tired but I'm drinking a coffee at the moment, so maybe that will make me feel awake... usually it just makes me feel warm and even more sleepy haha, so we'll see. I plan on playing a bit of StarCraft 2 and then maybe watching a movie before bed. I watched Up In The Air (in standard def.. ewwww) last night before bed and it was good, I enjoyed it, however hopelessly depressing it is. I'm not sure if there are other movies I'd want to watch, but I'll check it out.
