Working Away
Today should have been depressing, but it turned out with me feeling pretty good. I woke up late, and I had an in-class assignment in Web Design this morning, and since I had got up late, the only way I could make it to class in time would be to take a cab, and it cost me $28. On top of that, I didn't have a lunch to bring, and Thursdays are a six hour spree of non-stop classes.
You would think that those events would ruin my day, or put me in a bad mood, but I remained in good spirits despite all the crap I was going through, and made it through the day fine. Once I got home, I had some freshly made bruschetta for lunch/late snack (it was soooo good). I spent the late afternoon playing a tiny bit of WoW, a tiny bit of programming, and I did the dishes and cleaned the kitty litter, which lead me into dinner.
For dinner I had beef tenderloin, mashed potatos and veggies for dinner, with a slice of devil's food cake for dessert, all while watching a decent episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
After dinner, I programmed a bit more, helped some friends with an ICC achievement run, and now I'm here in the living room programming again.
I've actually made some progress on the small/slow project I've been working on, and have completely redesigned/remade the user interface and integration, and have started working on redesigning the process of adding new entries to the site, and eventually the entire administrative panel will be redone.
This entry is in fact the first I'll be making as a means to test the new class I wrote, so let's hope it works!
PS. It didn't work right away, but with a tiny bit of testing and trial and error, it now works! Entries will now be updated through a new panel! Yay me!
