Bad Blood
Life is interesting.
Things change, things that annoy you will change, objects that bring excitement will change, and things that make you sad will change, but your brain normalizes, your brain changes and alters and the things level out and move. There will always be something that makes you sad, something that makes you happy and something that makes you worried. These things will change from year to year, but those feelings will never go away. Your brain always has a way of becoming happy or at least a baseline. Ze Frank explained it better...
Work was okay, the first half was better. I worked with pretty much just Jon from 10am to 2pm, and got a lot done. It was a plated for 91, and a second plated for 12. I did all the reception fare, which was two fruit platters (actually Jon did those), two cheese trays, a crudite and a shrimp display. After that I did 91 cucumber ring salads, then 120 cheesecakes. After all that, I did the veg bundles... yeah, lots of fun.
After the dinner, I went with Julie to Masonville because she needed to pick some pants up for her Mom but also wanted to give me a ride home, so I agreed. We went to some weird yoga store where a pair of normal shorts were $64 and a sweatshirt was $128. We walked there, grabbed those, and as we were walking back to the car she walked by Garage and wanted to grab some tank tops or whatever, so we went in there and they sell candy, so we obviously got some of that... fuzzy peaches and skittles. Once out of there, we drove home.
I've got to work early tomorrow, as usual, Sundays are always 7am. I've got to wake up around 6:15am and take a cab. Tomorrow should be interesting, something to do with the cafe being closed for a week and all the work coming out of the main kitchen. Brunch is kinda slow, but I don't want to jinx it and there are no other events, so it should be a pretty good day, a day where I'll get out on time.
I'm just watching the Shield, the first episode of season seven. I took a sleeping pill, and I ate popcorn, so I'm just about ready for sleep. Oh yeah, and today's steam sale was pretty cool, I bought three Hitman games, Terraia, Post Apocalyptic Mayhem, Hydrophobia: Prophecy. Yay games.
