Myself, Lost in Escape

Work was pretty relaxed and calm today, a nice change, a good day, nothing terrible or stressful happened, things just went according to plan and all was well.

I figured the day would go that way, which is nice... nice that it actually did. It was just a small festive dinner for ten people and a festive buffet for 31 people (nine of which were kids). We had a long time to ensure it was all ready and organized, which it was. It gave me more time to make sure tomorrow was set up, and to ensure there would be no problems with service. Everything went well and I was out after eight hours, at 8:00pm.

I had to wait about twenty minutes at the hospital for the bus but I just played Chrono Trigger and tried not to have snot run down my face... yeah, I've had more enjoyable waits, but what're you gonna do? The bus was waiting for me downtown, so I didn't have to wait again, and I got home in decent time (9:15ish).

Once home I decided to make a small dinner... I had snacked at work and what not, moreso around lunch time... I had a chicken club that Matt generously made for me when I sweetly asked for food, but I didn't eat much in the second half of the day, so when I got home I warmed the rest of my potato soup and made some cheesy bread, which I enjoyed while watching Jimmy.

Once I was finished my dinner, it was around 10:00pm, so I decided to read a chapter of Darrell Hammond's book, which I'm enjoying a lot... well, yeah... I guess enjoying. It's interesting, amazing, scary... a lot of different things. After I finished the chapter, I decided to play some Skyward Sword until 11pm, at which point I had a bath.

I got out of my bath and sat down in the living room to watch SNL, as it's Jimmy Fallon hosting the Christmas episode, so I'm really looking forward to it. Because of that, I'm going to stop writing now, get comfortable on the couch and enjoy the episode!
