The Ups and Downs

Today was an up and down day, a day of good times and bad times. This isn't going to be a long entry, not by a long shot.

I got up and had a nice breakfast... early.. around 9:30am or so. I started cleaning and organizing the kitchen cupboards almost right away, and continued with that almost all day. I took everything out and cleaned everything, threw out a lot of stuff and got a better idea of what I had. I had to do laundry too, so I played some Bioshock 2 while I waited for the washer to be done it's cycle... it was the only game I played today... this week maybe.

I stopped cleaning around dinner time, read a bit of Game of Thrones and made a nice beef tenderloin dinner, watching Star Trek Voyager while I ate. After dinner I started to feel a bit down, and attempted to program, but ran into a dead end when a formatting error was stopping me from implementing an alias feature in my money project... something to do with how the string is stored in the database and read from the form, it won't recognize them as a match, and I got really mad, and there were other things going on that piled on top of that existing frustration, and I kind of lost it.

I felt insane again, like.. I do sometimes. It lasted for an hour or so.. felt like dying, felt like crying, if I could even manage that. I talked to Bekki a bit, eventually having a fun conversation and without even realizing it, my mood became much better and I felt decent again.

Work tomorrow is going to be... less than fun. We have three dinner's all going at the same time... two plated and one buffet... it should be okay, but it won't be relaxed and easy, but ah well... I hope it all goes okay and I don't feel too stressed out.

I work at 1pm, so I need to catch a bus at 12, so wake up at 11ish at the latest. I'll be going to bed shortly, after reading a chapter or two of my book probably. Sounds good right?
