Empty

Do I have anything new to write? I kinda wrote a days worth of stuff earlier, so it leaves me feeling already quite empty... but I was watching TV and felt weird just sitting there, so getting the laptop and sitting down to write just felt natural, it just felt right.

Work turned out to be pretty awesome... it was relaxing and slow and enjoyable... the exact type of shift that I needed. I finished getting the dinner ready in about a half hour to an hour, and used the rest of the time cleaning and organizing the fridge, and then made some ranch dressing and watched Jon drop an entire buffet's potatoes on the floor. We only worked for five hours, and were out of there by 6pm.

After work I walked to the grocery store for junk food for my day off (essentially) and it was a nice walk... it was starting to get dark and it wasn't quite freezing out.

Once home I took some time to do all the dishes and take out the garbage and empty beer bottles... swept and cleaned the litter. Afterward I had some bagel bites for dinner because I had eaten a little bit of beef bourg at work, so I wasn't starving or anything. After dinner I worked on some programming and listened to a podcast and some music, eventually running a bath to warm up, and reading a bit on the couch. Eventually it was 11pm and time to watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report, and that's what I'm doing now.

I'm not sure when I'll be going to sleep today, as I don't have to get up at any time tomorrow, but I have a bit of a headache and don't feel the greatest right now, so I may go to sleep sooner rather than later. I may just watch Jimmy Fallon and go to sleep. Time will tell!

Tomorrow I think I might organize my cupboards and fridge and freezer, and make a list of some of the food I have and then plan out meals for the next week straight. That sounds fun... right?
