I had a disabling migraine today after dinner, most likely because there was 13.5 hours between meals (and the first meal was simply two pieces of toast and a sip of three month old lemonade). It was so bad that I couldn't do anything... even laying down with my arm placing pressure on my forehead didn't bring much relief, and it hurt to lay because the blood would go to my head and it would pound and pound.
Today at work was fairly laid back and I got a lot done, and even cleaned the fridge. After work Bekki and I went grocery shopping, and drove to two Food Basics to find chicken on sale but couldn't find any... sold out I suppose. We went to No Frills after we got home and did the weekly shopping.
We had side ribs, with baked potatoes (with sour cream and green onions), corn, green beans and baby carrots for dinner... it was my first time cooking ribs actually, and they turned out pretty good. It's all about the BBQ sauce I think, and the one I have isn't the greatest, but it's not bad either. The meat was slightly chewy, but I think that's because they're side ribs as opposed to back ribs.
As soon as I was done dinner, my headache got so much worse that I immediately had to lay down, and it only got worse up until about 8:15pm or something. I took a bunch of T1 and Advil, and a sleeping pill, and I tried to relax and play Torchlight 2 and watch Doctor Who, something that's been quite relaxing lately.
Today we also found out that we got the townhouse on Osgoode, which means we're moving soon! I'll write more about our plans later, but that was some good news, and we can actually let ourselves get excited about it, and start planning our strategy.
I work tomorrow from 6 to 2pm, and will be working with my Bekkidy, so it should be a good day. I need to get some rest soon, and hopefully tomorrow I won't get a headache. Oh yeah, and I'm still on my no coffee diet, which has been a couple weeks now I think.
