Today

I'm going to write a little because I want to.

Today I got woken up by my dog, Ashe (have you met?) digging in her crate over and over again for what seemed like hours, so I got up at like 8:30am, went down and let her pee, put her back and then came back to sleep, and got woken up at 9:30am for good. It was only about six hours of sleep, so I was pretty tired, especially since I had taken a sleeping pill, but what are you gonna do?

I spent the day doing school work and playing World of Warcraft. I worked on my C++ project a lot and got it working. It's with sockets, and I've made a client and a server program that can talk to each other over a network.

From 5pm to 6pm I had class... Patterns... and I actually spoke up and answered questions and even made a joke. That actually scares me because that means something is broken in my head.

After class, Bekki and I went to Spaghetti Eddies, and I gotta say that while it's pretty cheap, it's probably not worth the time or money considering the quality of the ingredients is about trailer park level, and I could easily make that dinner at home with very little work. Afterwards we went to Garlics and stupidly spent money on creme brulee and coffee, which also isn't worth $20.

Once home, I worked on C++ a little more and played a bit more World of Warcraft, and decided to try to relax and go to sleep at a decent time, even though it's already 10pm. I'm going to attempt to read in bed and then go to sleep.

I have my work uniform in my washing machine though, and I can't go to sleep until I switch it over to the dryer, so I gotta keep reading until I do that!

I've been feeling really anxious and irritable lately, very nervous and a mess. Life is a disaster right now and even the most simple things are overwhelming. I long for relief and relaxation, simplicity and easy answers.
