Please don't.. Please. Don't.

Yes, it IS in fact very early in the morning and I have yet been to bed. I'm sitting here, waiting for my pills to kick in, before I can go to bed, and for some reason I don't even really want to update my website, but I'm forcing myself to so I have something to do, and so I can appease my demons. I try to force creativity out of myself before bed, as I find I rest better and have less intense nightmares if I do so... so I try to think of as many ways to make my entries more interesting (more images, more links and so on) and by the end I usually feel pretty drained and my sleep is bearable. Last night was... intense though... and you saw my entry. blah.. oh well, I'll just keep on going and pretending it works. I am getting much more use out of Adobe Photoshop now though, as I am editing images A LOT more to make the presentable and compatable with my site... so at least I don't feel like I'm wasting such an advanced and expensive program on just resizing a few images... I actually do things with it now! Yay for that! *claps*

I spent the majority of the day watching Emily play The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. She's improved so much in just something like two days... she started off unable to really fight effectivily, not quite understanding some concepts (as it was her first Zelda game ever) and not taking it quite as serious as say.. oh I dunno, someone like ME would. In such a short time she's transformed into something that shows more promise than I've seen in one of my students in a long time (hehe, she's my student!). She now plays thinking differently... trying to find clues to puzzles, fighting effectivly (raping the enemies) and you can just tell she's taking it way serious now. Probably one of the most fun aspects of her playing is that you can connect a GBA SP to the Gamecube and use the Tingle Tuner, and the person on the Gameboy (me) can be Tingle the fairy, and look around for hidden items, places to bomb, and can even help Link out with life potions or getting places he otherwise couldn't (all for a set price of rupees). So, I get to play a role in her game, even if SHE is the one really playing. I get to explore the maps, look for clues and items, and have fun other ways. For some reason I'm really getting into the game, even more so than when I was playing it myself... it's strange, but it's really making me want to play Zeldas. I loaded up the original Zelda for NES and played that for awhile, I'm halfway through the second dungeon already! Also, I tested my N64 Emulator and installed my cordless Logtiech Wingman Rumblepad and played Ocarina of Time for a little bit, just to see how it ran and felt with the controller... it's definitley playable, and I'm thinking about really sitting down and playing through it... a part of me, however, wants to play it on the N64 with authentic controller, just for an 'official' feeling to it. I also loaded up the Majoras Mask ROM to see if it ran, and it did, with a few minor graphics glitches in the opening movie, I may also begin to play this game. I'm also getting all excited and drooley over the next Zelda (Zelda 2005 as they're temporarily calling it).. I haven't felt much excitements towards games lately and it's nice to feel it again. The next zelda is the sequal to The Wind Waker, and features an ultra-realistic graphics system, introduces new enemies, weapons and ways of fighting (horseback anyone?) and introduces tons of new features... I have a feeling this will set the new standard for games (just like Ocarina of Time did). Click the screen shot (IN GAME FUCKING SCREEN SHOT) to view MORE screenshots. *drools* Just make sure you have a change of underwear, pants... maybe an extra chair, something to wipe off the monitor and make sure there are no other people in the room.

IGN fucking sucks.. sorry
you damn well better click the mother fuckin link to see more screens

Just after we had finished playing and decided to wrap the night up, I turned on Celldweller to relax to, and it just kinda hit me that I haven't nearly whored it off as much as I should have yet. Never have I heard such talented, varied works of art combined and created by one artist on one CD. Celldwellers self-titled debute release is worth buying or downloading and just experiencing the music. It has heavy rock influences, heavy dance/trance, mixed together, wrapped around, some odd tracks... if you listen to this CD from beginning to end, you'd think its a compilation because of how different each songs style and composition is, and it's just so enjoyable and amazing. Check it out! The very first time I heard Celldweller was playing XGRA (Extreme G Racing Assosiation) for XBox and Celldweller has three songs on it's soundtrack, and they stuck out so I went out of my way to look up what the band was who played those awesome songs... all happened to be by the same artist... Celldweller, so I listened to them... again, and again, and again.. ended up having the games sound effects barely on and the music full blast just to listen to all the awesome music. Shorty afterwards I obtained the rest of the Celldweller album, and ever since I've really enjoyed listening to it. No one has really heard of them (or him.. it's just one guy) but Celldweller definitley has the potential to go places. The first video, Switchback, is being released later this month and should hopefully be getting some airplay on Much Music which may just launch Celldwellers popularity.. so just remember, you heard it here first. I've been listening to them for about six months now!

If you can't find the Celldweller songs on your own, or can't find it in stores, just talk to me - email or MSN and I can arrange a certain... transfer.. of data. It really is worth checking out, so don't put it off or brush it off. I whore off music a lot, yes.. I realize this, but I dunno, once and awhile I come across a band that's really deserving of said whoring... this being one of them... The White Stripes... ... a few others. They've been whored off (and you probablhy remember if you've been reading this journal long enough... took place about two years ago... scaaaaary). Anyway, if you need help finding Celldweller songs, I have them ALL on my computer, so don't hesitate to ask.

Also, I want to remind everyone that I now accept comments! as you've probably noticed at the bottom of some of my entries! All you have to do to submit a comment is well.. the easiest way: SEND ME IT OVER MSN!! Just make sure I know it's a comment you want posted, tell me what you want posted, and I'll go in and add it ASAP and upload it. The second way is to Email me with the subject 'Comment: blah blah blah" and then write the comments in your email, and then when I recieve the email, I'll add them on. Once people get into the habit of commenting it won' tbe as rare or seem as complicated! I've always wanted feedback but Rogers webspace doesn't support PHP script so I couldn't write my own comment/post script that I was going to do (and know how to ) so if this can catch on, it'll be pretty neat!

I'm not exactly tired at this point, but I definitley am running out of things to write about... OH! How could I forget!? I got a call from... VALUE fuckin VILLAGE today! They want me to come in for an interview on Tuesday at 3:00pm!! Holy fucking shit, I couldn't stop smiling for an hour! I was so proud! I guess the fact that Dana, Kate and Denny all work there MIGHT have something to do with it.. but.. getting a job.. it would mean so many good things for me, in so many inexplainable ways. Now I just have to ace the interview, and hope I get enough hours to support myself.. *crosses fingers*

Now I guess I got it all out... I'm not exactly ready for bed.. but maybe I'll play Zuma for a bit until my eye lids get tired... okay well, enjoy listening to Celldweller, wish me luck at the interview, get excited about the old AND new Zelda aaaaaand... see you later.

You know what I said when I saw those Zelda screenshots and video? You know WHAT I SAID? I said un-fucking-believable! But I screamed it! In my mind! Ohhhhh, I can't wait for that game to surface, it looks so gorgeous it's making me vibrate...like really, I downloaded the video and I literally couldn't fucking believe what the fuck I just saw *cries*

Ocarine of Time is my favourite game...I wonder how this new Zelda will fair. EUH it hurts inside! Ok maybe I'm being a little dramatic...or NOT! OH GOD! *falls onto floor in fetal position and starts rolling back and forth whimpering quietly* ...

ANYHOO, I'm glad things are looking up with Value Village and all, good luck with that! Oh, and I'd love to hear some Celldweller sometime :) Talk to you soon.
Yes, the game is so far beyond orgasmic that I fear for my health if it were to be released. There is just something magical about each and every Zelda game that makes waiting for the next so tingly and full of excitement!

I would have to say Ocarina of Time was the greatest Zelda made yet, with both Wind Waker and Links Awakening tied for second, and A Link To The Past in third. The rest of the series is tied for fourth... The Legend of Zelda series are amazing games, far ahead of most others. Even now, I'm playing through the original Zelda for NES and having a great time. As for Ocarina of Time, that was a masterpiece in terms of achievement, taking advantage of everything the system could handle (N64) and just taking something and making it an awesome, epic adventure.
