Project Blog Update
Project Blog News
Through experiencing the actual use of my project blog script, I noticed some things that could be changed or upgraded. Here are a list of changes made since release:
Statistics are listed on the menu now, detailing the number of entries in the system, the number of comments in the system, and the number of activated accounts. The number of logged in users currently viewing the script now displays in the toolbar under the titlebar, beside the login link. When a new user submits a new account to be registered, the administrator is e-mailed with a notification. Along the same lines, when an account has been approved (or reactivated after being suspended) that user will recieve an e-mail letting them know their account is ready to use. Implemented measures to stop double posts of comments. If a user was to submit a comment, and then hit refresh afterwards, or hit the submit button numerous times, it will only add the comment once. All HTML tags submitted by an anonymous poster (someone who is not logged in) are now stripped from the data, and will only display plain text. While before it said the tags were stripped, it didn't actually do anything. This has been fixed. If a user selects a URI to a non-existent image, or leaves that field blank, it no longer displays a broken image box in profiles and comments. The broken avatar is now replaced by a default Avatar (which may go through changes in the near future). Fixed to display the correct age in profiles instead of 'will do this later' that was there before. Increased various security and privacy features.
Phone Book News
I've also made a few updates and bug fixes on the phone book script. Thanks to those who reported issues. The changes are as follows:
Increased the maximum number of characters allowed in each field by almost double. This will let users put in long-form numbers (1-555-555-5555), or even custom notes in other fields. Fixed the phone book menu item to display correctly. Empty cells now display correctly, keeping the format of the rest of the table.
Keep me informed of bugs or changes you'd like to see in any of the scripts. Thanks.

What's the time interval that your script checks on active users? 5 minutes? 10 minutes?

It's set to 10 minutes right now. Since there are only 11 accounts right now, if it was any less, it would always just say 1. hehe
