Excessive

I would say today was good, and worth writing about at that, and it's just a shame that I'm in no writing mood of any kind, so this entry is going to suffer because of that.

The first half of the day isn't really worth mentioning.. it's the normal things I usually do on a weekday morning... watch the same specific shows (Family Fued, Cosby, Steve Harvey Show, Drew Carey show) and organize music, manage torrents, and whatever else I have on my plate (projects or scripts). My days really don't start until around 4pm lately, and I guess I'm okay with that.

When Michelle got here, we went downtown and caught a bus to Giant Tiger where we basically just browsed the entire store and checked everything out. We picked up a couple pieces of clothing, and a couple mats (like.. rugs for my room and the hall that connects the closet, bathroom, my room, front door and living room (it's a busy hallway). I also got a shirt with a pocket! It's plain black... it's why I got it.. and small.. very small.

Afterward, we walked back to Michelle's place and hung out with Jess for a bit, chillin in the kitchen, talking and laughing etc, the normal stuff. We eventually had bbq chicken breast, baked potato and corn, while watching Friends... and it was super! I ate more than I normally do and I really enjoyed it. It was sunny and beautiful out, and I really liked it; it was comforting.

Immediatley after supper, we headed back to my house where we unloaded the new stuff, and proceeded to tidy up a bit (sorta like a spring cleansing) and I changed the sheets to summer ones, an switched pillowcases, positioned the new mats, changed the kitty litter, lit incense.. all while listening to Imogen Heap... it was very nice, very... cleansing of the spirit feeling. After the cleaning I had a bath, and we settled down and watched some TV. As I'm sure everyone knows, Monday nights aren't exactly exciting television nights... but at 10pm, Futurama is on, then 11pm and 11:30pm is The Daily Show and Colbert Report, and then South Park, and then Conan O'brien. Currently, Conan is about all the way over (it was the rerun of his finland special) and Last Call is gonna come on.

I'm pretty tired and have no reason to be up, so after I write this, I'll finish up for the night, say goodnight to ma peeps, and lay down with Last Call on and be lulled to sleep to the friendly sound of the TV, my best friend.
