I went to bed last night with a pretty bad headache, one of those special headaches that are especially painful and difficult to lay down because it's more of a sharp pain than your average booming headache. I couldn't lay comfortably without my head hurting, and I knew that I had to sleep or else I'd just be in pain all night, so I got up and took two Tylenol and a sleeping pill and laid down. While I was still in pain, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep pretty quickly because I don't really remember much after that point.
When I woke up this morning at around 10:30am, I still had that painful headache, and I was really groggy from the sleeping pill, so I was in a pretty shitty mood but I got up and put on an episode of Friends, and drank coffee and had a piece of banana bread in an attempt to get the headache away, which didn't really help. After Friends, Michelle was up, so I put on last night's House, and much like Tony said, it was really funny... a very good episode.
I've been playing a lot of Guitar Hero the last few days (Guitar Hero 2 mostly) and Ally and Darcy came over on Monday for crazy guitar partying, and it was a lot of fun. We all took turns, and played some co-op and some face offs, and Darcy and I played a duet version of Boston's More Than a Feeling, which was awesome. It's a lot of fun to play alone and try to beat scores and get better, and it's also a lot of fun to play with other people, and laugh at when they mess up, or impress each other with not making any mistakes. My arm and wrist have been pretty sore due to the amount I've been playing, but the motion sickness and headaches that initially were caused by playing the game don't really happen anymore, and I rarely feel any side effects from playing (except for the sore wrist/arm). I've beat the game on Easy and Medium and have got perfect on a lot of the Easy tracks and quite a few Medium tracks.
Random fact: I watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition yesterday only because Insomniac Games was in it for 10 seconds.
I've been thinking of sitting down to watch all the Lost that I haven't seen yet. It's supposed to be a group thing, but it's been months and months since we've watched one, and I'm way behind and I want to know what's been going on, and there never seems to be a good time to get together and watch that many episodes, so I highly doubt it's ever going to happen. Even if I do watch them all, and in the future we all do manage to get together for a Lostathon (or Lost party as they were called years ago!) I can just watch them again, because that's what I did with the first season... I watched them all, then told my friends how awesome it was, then they came over and we all watched the first season again.
I've been listening to Manson's new album Eat Me Drink Me a lot (which I've mentioned already) and it's really becoming my favorite album written by him, as his song writing has really evolved. Songs like Putting Holes in Happiness, Heart Shaped Glasses and Evidence are just really fun to listen to.
I think I'm gonna make some lunch and watch TV and try to get rid of this god damn headache.
Oh yeah, and I talked to Linzie again and that makes me happy.
Peace out.
