Fuck (Someone)

I got my Xbox back, but apparently Xbox hard drives are manufactured to work with only one specific motherboard, so I lost my hard drive (and all save data) for a new one.

Now, that's insane. That is just the most insane thing I've ever heard. What are the pro's for Microsoft for only allowing the hard drive to work with that one motherboard? What the hell? How is that even possible? Is it even true? I'm going to ask on G&T and see what they say... I forced the lady to give me my old harddrive back, just incase it was possible to get the info off of it, or put it back in.

So what does this mean? It means that I've lost four years worth of playing games. The most important things lost are as follows:

  • The Sims 2 - I had a save file that was doing very well, I was at over 50% completion and had over $200,000. This was the main reason I even wanted the Xbox back... to continue playing this save file.
  • Soul Calibur II - I had unlocked five characters, purchased all the weapons for the characters, unlocked most of the outfits for all the characters, as well as beaten about 80% of the weapon master levels and challenges. This was one of the most tedious, annoying, frustrating and difficult games to get this much stuff in.
  • Halo - I lost my profile which had beaten the game on the Legendary difficulty (it's insanely difficult).
  • Halo 2 - Lost the new maps I downloaded from Xbox Live, lost the patch from Live, lost my profile which had beat the game on the second hardest difficulty.
  • SSX Tricky - I had Kaori and a few others completely beaten and maxed out, and all the others about 3/4s of the way, and I lost all of my insanely good high scores.
  • SSX 3 - I had maxed out/beaten all of the characters, bought all of the unlockables, set insane high scores, and completely beaten the game in every way. I would guess that I had put more than 100 hours into this save.
  • SSX On Tour - I had recently become ranked number 1, beaten all but two of the events, and this game is so freakin annoying and difficult to get that far in.
  • Brothers In Arms - Lost my profile where I had unlocked everything and beaten the entire game on the most difficult setting.
  • Brothers in Arms: Earned In Blood - Also lost my profile where I had unlocked everything and beaten the entire game on the most difficult setting, as well as completed all of the co-op levels with Jess.
  • Rainbow Six 3 - Completed about half of the game. This one isn't that big of a deal, but the fact that it took me about three years to get that far kinda bums me out.
  • XGRA - Completely beaten profile, with the fastest speeds and bikes unlocked.
  • Annnyway, I'm pretty fucking pissed off.

That's fucking insane. There's got to be a way to get all the saved game data back.

I''m really pissed off too. He could have said something to me, I'm pretty sure I asked him that.

    BAH! BAH TO TODAY.
