Full of Bread

I've eaten so much bread today that I'm pretty sure when I go to poop, a loaf of bread is just going to come out. In fact, I had such a large supper, and ate so much bread, that I'm no where near hungry at all, and yet I have a bowl of chips and a Coke because when I write an entry on the computer, I need to have a snack beside me to make me feel comfortable. It's odd, how such routines can make you feel safe, but... I like it, so... I'm gonna do it.

I couldn't get to sleep last night at all; neither could Mark, because when I went out to get a snack at like 6am, Mark was laying in bed but said hey when I walked to the kitchen. I watched That 70's Show and played Pokemon until I could see the sky getting light again, and that was when I knew I should really, really go to bed.

I woke up earlier than I normally would've... I woke up and saw that the time was around 2pm, and I knew I had to go grocery shopping, so I forced myself to get up and message my Mom and ask her if she wanted to go shopping with me, and we arranged to borrow Lindy's car and after getting dressed and ready to go, it was around 3:30pm and my Mom came over and picked me up. We just went to Value-mart because it's the easiest, and I'm familiar with it, and we only had until 4:30pm to get the car back to my Sister.

I got groceries for the next week, which included things like half-off bacon, some more eggs, some lunch meat for Michelle, a big thing of toilet paper because Michelle and Mark always buys the ripoff stuff at the variety store, kitty litter so I can clean out and change the litter completely, some hot dogs and buns for Mark, some crackers, some bread, potatoes and a can of corn... I'm sure there was some other stuff. I think we'll be eating well for the rest of the week, and that's what matters.

After I got home, Linzie dropped over before she had to meet Holly for dinner, so I showed her my massive Guitar Hero skills, and then we watched the 1Up Show, and that was about it, cause she had to leave and meet Holly. Too bad we couldn't hang out longer, but it worked out because around the time she left, it was about my supper time, so I got to have company and keep my normal routine without messing up my mood or day! Sweet deal I say.

For supper I made a nice, big meal because I hadn't had one in a long time and I felt like I should feel like not near death for once. I made a bbq chicken breast with bbq sauce made on the grill, mashed potatoes, corn, cauliflower, brocolli, a slice of fresh rye bread, some pickles and olives and a glass of cold Coke. It was really, really good (although it sucks I didn't have Yukon gold potatoes, as I find white potatoes to be really chalky now that I pretty much buy gold exclusively) and I could only manage to eat about half of my meal (over about a 30 minute period) and I put the rest in my a container and I'll probably eat it for supper tomorrow... actually, I have to, or else it's just garbage. I watched episodes of Mythbusters with dinner and I ate in the living room. It was comfortable and enjoyable, and it was a good evening.

I spent the night listening to a new Retronauts that came out tonight, and I also installed and tried out a free game made by some dude who posts in the something awful forums. It was made just by the one guy, it was made using RPG Maker XP, and it took about a year to develop. I played the first half hour or so (the first quest) and while the writing isn't moving or even exceptional, I can see past that and see the work that went into it. It was enjoyable enough, and I think I'm going to continue to play it. It plays like an SNES era RPG like a Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy (or Breath of Fire), so the player is familiar with the game mechanics right away.

Now I'm just waiting for Michelle to get home... I'm going to watch Ghost Hunters, play a few games maybe (maybe not), have a bath and go to bed earlier than I normally do because I'm freakin' tired.
