Holy Crap

Wow, music through my awesome headphones coming out of my computer sounds so freakin good compared to my iPod. There is so much detail to the sound! I can hear such little noises and effects, it's awesome. The true way to listen to The Age of Adz for sure.

Today was a reasonable day at work... In that I worked eight hours and went home. CRAZY! I know, first Sunday I haven't worked double digit hours in a long time. It was busy, but I had pretty much everything under control, and crap got done, so... that's good. I feel like I'm one of the most responsible and organized person there and I only work two days out of the week, so that seems weird.

Since I was off early, I actually made it home before the sun went down (I got home around 4:30 or so, which sucks considering I was off at 3pm), so I had a snack and watched SNL, called my Mom, relaxed on the couch with cats. At around 5:40 I put a leftover lasagna in the oven and warmed it up for about 40 minutes or so, and ate dinner, and put on a movie I had recorded the other day, which I didn't really know much about, New York I Love You, which is a collection of short film segments sent in by various directors/writers, and they had to meet certain criteria to be included in the film. It had to be a romance, and it had to represent a certain borough of New York. I was quite impressed, very impressed with this movie, and almost all the segments connected with me in some way or another, and I thought they were clever, and well written. A lot of them had messages you had to kind of figure out or interpert yourself, and others had more direct messages. Anyone who is a hopeless romantic should check it out, I'm sure you would enjoy it.

After the movie, I did a crapload of reading, I read my networking chapter and then did the chapter test, which I got 100% on, which is mind blowing since the class average is like 60% and I've never got higher than an 87 or something, so that was shocking, and after that I had to take all this WHMIS bullcrap... read three sets of notes, take three tests, and then take a final test of 100 questions, and I had to get 80% on or higher and you can't retake it. It sucked, and it was boring, but I got 84%, so I took a screenshot of my certificate and submitted it and now that's done so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Once I was finished my oh-so-important school work, I settled in and enjoyed my favorite part of the week, watching Boardwalk Empire. It was a good episode, and it was fun to watch. I had a nice bowl of popcorn and a pop and just relaxed.

After that, I decided to have a really hot bath because I didn't feel ready for bed, something about a super hot bath that makes sliding into bed feel more appropriate... I think that goes back to childhood for me haha. Anyway, it did relax me and make me feel more comfortable, so I grabbed my headphones, and now I'm listening to Sufjan Steven's Age of Adz as I type this very entry, and think about heading to bed very shortly.

Tomorrow is a longer day, with a break, so I have to make a lunch tomorrow morning... it'll be a ham sandwhich, pickle and olive, chips, coke and a bag of sliced apples. I've been having some difficulty waking up to the alarm, I think that has a lot to do with sleeping pills, in fact, I think I've slept through the alarm every single day of last week... well I didn't take any pills tonight, so hopefully I can wake up alert and ready for the day, have a coffee, some toast, and make a nice lunch and head to school in good spirits... but things don't always go as plans, so we'll see.

I think that's all I've got for now, I'm feeling pretty tired, I might brush my teeth now and go to sleep.
