Wet Day Is Bad Day
Oh man did today start in the worst way possible... When I left for school this morning, it was wet out but wasn't really raining, just spitting out, really light, so I wasn't worried. About the time I got to the bus stop, it was pouring so hard that I couldn't even face into the wind, and I stood there for like... 15 minutes, in the pouring rain, my coat, hood, jeans, socks, shoes... were soaked, dripping. I think it was a test somehow, I had promised myself to go to school every day this week, and yet here, on the first day of the week it's pouring rain and presenting itself as the perfect day to stay in and sleep, but I stuck through it. I considered turning back and going home once I started getting really wet and uncomfortable, but I told myself that I had to go to school, so I did.
In Operating Systems and Hardware, I played World of Warcraft for the whole three hours pretty much, but I wasn't paying that much attention to it as my friend Calen who was sitting beside me was trying WoW for the first time, so I was giving him information and showing him certain things. It was kind of fun to see someone experience it for the first time, I remember how awesome and magical an experience it seemed to me back then, and I kind of miss that with current WoW since I know so much about the game, it's all broken down into stats and math and crap, and less about immersiveness, lore and atmosphere.
After that class, I had an hour break, so I ate lunch and just kinda sat with the computer open but not really doing anything, I was more just eating and watching Calen get 90% on the same retakable test over and over... it took him 11 attempts to finally get 100% but it was kind of funny to watch that 90% grade pop up over and over again. At 12pm it was time to go networking lecture, so we walked down the hall and into the room.
We have a normal row we sit in every week and no one ever takes it, so we just kinda strolled in and sat up there, but it's a lot easier to find a spot recently since the class seems to be about half the size or less than when the semester first started.
I pretty much paid attention in the lecture, talked to a couple people on IM and stuff, but I don't really play games in class (besides this morning) so I just sat there bored, listening to him. He kind of rambled on to the very last second, but I was out of there by 2pm and on the bus by 2:15.
I don't really remember what time I got home, but I was pretty tired, but wanted to do some school work while I was still in school mode, so I finished commenting my code for the Project 2 in Programming, and printed it and I'll hand that in tomorrow. After that, I was starving, so I cooked some spaghetti, watched Mythbusters, Canada's Worst Driver and played some FFTA2.
Now I'm kind of bored, kind of hot, and kind of tired. I'm just going to chill for the rest of the night, probably just watch TV but maybe play a couple games, whatever I gotta do to relax, then maybe I'll have a bath and head to bed. Class tomorrow at 11am, so I can sleep in to 9am instead of 6am, so that's always a nice treat.
That's it for now!
