OMG Steam Sale!

I'm really excited right now and it's kind of ridiculous how excited I am, but let me tell you why. You see, all month, I've been waiting for the summer steam sale, a giant sale, just like they do at Christmas, where all games go on insane sales, and each day there is a selection of games put on sale even more! Today was the first day, and there were twelve daily deals, and I ended up buying four new games, and there are nine more days of this! It just has me excited to see what games will be going on sale next, because with games at $2.50 or lower, it's just so affordable and easy to buy stuff, especially lesser known games I didn't even know about.

Work today was pretty crazy, with things actually going out late due to uh... not having enough people in, because we don't have enough employees! I've worked there for four years, I've seen the place staffed properly, and I've seen it understaffed, and I've seen it completely understaffed to the extreme. I think there should have been four cooks in this morning, not two. Jill had to take care of the cafe, which left me to take care of the events... sometimes that's okay, but today I had a buffet for 80 people, a picnic lunch for 80 people and a second picnic lunch for 20 people, plus the Thursday BBQ for 150. Many things went out late, including parts of the BBQ, the desserts for the buffet, and all while this was happening, I had to keep going over to the cafe to cook. It was stressful to say the least, and not something I'd like to repeat.

After lunch was over, which you know, took forever, I made a bunch of salads so that Julie wouldn't be screwed over tomorrow when she comes in to do the wedding, since it's just her and Tom because it's a holiday. I made an asian noodle salad, potato salad, greek salad aaand, I already had pasta salad, so with a caesar, spinach and mixed greens salad, she has all the salads she needs.

After work, I had a salad... mixed greens, mushrooms, radishes, chery tomatoes, cheese and red onion, with ranch dressing. I was starving so I made it right away, and watched the Shield while eating.

The evening was spent playing FarCry, and being all excited about the steam sale. Tomorrow I'm going to furiously click refresh at 1pm and see what the next daily deals are!
