Every Pulse

Today was an interesting day, wasn't too bad, kind of a typical day really.

I woke up and had breakfast, a couple pieces of dark rye and a coffee, and an apple sauce after. Yeah, very exciting, I know... I called a cab and left for work at 6:45am, getting there for 7am.

It was a typical Sunday, that I've written about a hundered times, it seems silly to repeat it again in detail. Continental was busy... almost 100 people I think, and brunch was a bit slower, probably did 25 or so, but it was busy enough that I was getting phone calls, which kept intterupting my other work, which was getting a wedding ready. I spent most of the time getting the veg ready, which were broccoli crowns and asparagus, yellow pepper and parsnip bundles, probably the most annoying veg option ever created. About the time I was finishing that, the afternoon/evening staff arrived, which was Tom, Kyle, Matt and Percival Krustofski, and brunch came back, which meant Mark and Jim came to break it down, so the kitchen went from me, quiety prepping vegetables, to eight people, and our kitchen is really small, so it was kinda lame. I had no where to work and I was trying to rush through things cause time was running out and yeah... I was tired, and I feel like this is really boring to write about and that this paragraph is a lot longer than it should be.

I worked a long time and I was tired... my body was sore... it was nice to go home.

Once I got home, I made a nice roast beef sandwich for dinner... which sounds more like a lunch, but whatever, it was good. Afterward, I somehow found the energy to do some small housework type stuff. My normal chores, just tidying up, and I took the garbage and recycling out to the curb... it felt good to clean up but I was kind of surprised that I forced myself to do it, these last couple days have really made me tired, but I wanted to feel clean and relaxed.

Afterward, I sat down at the computer and played a bit of Limbo, and chatted with a couple people, got a couple calls from Kyle for some pro tips on open face sandwiches. I read a bit as well, but I don't really remember where the time went or what I did exactly... I guess I kinda wasted time... I did listen to the rest of Wednesday's Morning Stream (yeah, I'm a bit behind) and that's always enjoyable.

It was getting later in the night, so I decided to watch True Blood, as a new episode had just finished recording.

That pretty much brings us up to date, and tomorrow I've got the day off, but not really any plans, so uhh.. I dunno. Yeah.. good writing. Let's do this again sometime.
