Good Day... Strange, But Good.
If you don't get enough sleep nothing seems quite real. It's strange. Both Linzie and I didn't go to sleep last night because well.. we're sick (or at least I am) of spending all our time together asleep instead of spending time together.. oh say... awake? So anyway we made it till about 7pm until we napped until 12pm and then she went home. It's 5:48am right now and I'm not very tired but I'm gonna try and sleep a bit. I actually got quite a bit done today... yay!
I started working on Wallpaper Manager 3 early in the morning until about the time Linzie got there... It's actually get near completetion. It's got almost full functionality I've just got to put in toolbars and all the flashy crap people look for. There are nice menu's though.. I'm proud!
I had to download and install Norton Anti-Virus 2002 for my Mom's computer because she's so abnormally paranoid about viruses (even though she doesn't understand them at all) so I did that and scanned and found some very old trojan that wasn't even activated and removed it. Nothing else though. Marilyn said that one of Mom's emails was reported as to having a virus on it but my Mom never sent an attachment so I think it's just a mistake. Oh well I'll find out soon because god knows I'll be asked about it.
At some point during the day (the day is a blur not enough sleep will completely get rid of your sense of time) Linzie and I walked to Owens to get my Zim CD's and my AFI hoodie.. but Owen was at Ally's and his Dad had no idea where my crap was so I took a quick look only found my hoodie and left. Sort of a waste of time but I wanted to get outside for some reason. I like being in the sun now it gets me in a better mood... so it's worth it.
Early in the morning I had a shower wore fresh washed clothes re-painted my nails re-taped my hands and put both my bracelets on so I was ready to be social! Booysa! I didn't end up seeing anyone though... but oh well! I was snazzy! Right Linzie? RIGHT!? HEY BITCH!!.. i mean... mmm smiles.
I had smiles for lunch they were nummy. I've got Linzie to cook me stuff these last few times I've got to stop being lazy and start cooking again... I'm just getting bored of our regular shit. Noodles and Ragu just doesn't do anything for me anymore. It used to be really awesome now it makes me feel sick. Oh well I'm sure I'll find something new... maybe even just a new kind of noodle will mix it up enough to make it better oh well.
Today was such a struggle to stay awake I kept trying to find things to do to keep me on my feet because (as an expert of staying up for more than 30 hours) I know that if you lay down, slouch, sit or rest your head you're just lying to yourself and you're trying to fall asleep. So my Mom asked me to make up an estimate for a net capable computer for a friends friend so he had some idea of what the price would be and she told me to make it look semi-professional so I came up with this. All in all today was a pretty productive day. I've been watching a lot of Quantum Leaps lately (off of my Mom's tapes... every show on tape!) and that's what's been keeping me awake when I've got nothing to do. As for music I've been listening to Radiohead's Kid A album a lot. I highly recommend downloading Idioteque and Everything In It's Right Place by Radiohead. You can get those from my Song List. They're very unique.
I guess that's it. To sum up the day. I was really happy for some reason. I love Linzie a lot. I'm tired as hell because I didn't go to sleep and Quantum Leap is the greatest show ever. Good night fans!
