Offender

It feels like I've been putting off writing for hours now, but I've only been home for two.

Today was a long day of work, but it went well... strangely smooth. I started work at 10am, which was kinda nice, being able to sleep in a bit. I woke up at 8:30, after resetting the alarm two or three times. I had some toast and coffee for breakfast, and caught the bus.

The first half of the day was spent making vegetable bundles basically - asparagus, carrots, green beans and red pepper, wrapped with a thinly sliced zuccini. After finishing those, Tom helped me do the ninety or so kiwi nut salads. This lead into finishing up some of the smaller things neccessary for the wedding.

The dinner went smoothly and there were no problems. I had made the creme brulees the day before, which actually helped a lot as far as time went, and at around 8:30pm, dinner had gone out and I got a ride with Julie-anne.

Once I was home, I ate two microwaveable lasagna's, drank a Coke and sat down... It felt really good to sit down. Very good. After eating, and watching an episode of Star Trek: TNG, I ran a bath, listened to some Morning Stream, and finally sat down at the computer to enjoy my night... when I quickly realized that I don't really have much time, or any time really. I have to work at 8am tomorrow, which means if I were to go to sleep at midnight, it'd only be about six hours of sleep... but I guess I've run on less. I dunno, it's been at the back of my mind all night... I just keep feeling like I have no time, like I have to rush through things, and it's obviously affecting my writing.

I apologize for how shitty this entry, and my previous few have been. Something hasn't been clicking when I sit down to write. But, as I always say, the important part is writing anything, no matter the length or quality, just for the sake of having anything at all.
