Excessive

Work was pretty easy today, well... laid back, organized, you know... kind of the normal recently, with our banquet team really coming together.. myself, Jon and Allen. It was just Allen and I today for continental, brunch and then some reception fare.

I was groggy in the morning, as I predicted, but what are you gonna do? I made a coffee and it woke me up enough to function, and I called a cab and drove to work. Allen and I both started at 7am, but I told him to just focus on brunch and I would take care of the continental and the hots for brunch, so that's what we did and everything went really well, really smoothly, just the way I like it.

After brunch was out at 10am, Matt came in and took over replenishment duty, and Allen and I started working on the platers for the afternoon. I did the cookies, squares and brownies, as well as the crudites, and Allen did the fruit and cheese. We had it all done and over with by around 1:30pm, and then spent the last thirty minutes just cleaning up and finishing up things. We left early, at 2pm, and Allen drove me home.

Once home, I was so unbelievably tired that after talking to my Mom for a bit, I just went into the bedroom, laid down and fell asleep for quite awhile, until around 6:30pm or so. I listened to the Morning Stream but fell asleep instantly so didn't really hear any of it. Once I got up, I was pretty hungry but didn't have any dinner food (I'm actually out of tomatoes some how) so I decided to spend my tips on getting some pizzas, so that's what I did.

I ate some pizza while watching Voyager, and eventually Bekki came over to do some reading for school, and I played through the first level of Halo 3 on legendary with Sir Benjamin Shirley. It was actually a ton of fun, but his Xbox Live headset was kind of balls so communication was kind of difficult and that impacted the amount of fun we could have. When I bought my new 360, it came with a downloadable copy of Halo: Reach, so I gave the code to Ben and he's going to download it and we're going to try to play through it on legendary; we're going to start some point during the week.

Tomorrow I've got work from 12 to 8, a small plated I believe, it should be easy, and then I have Tuesday off, so I can you know, go shopping and clean and stuff. I am looking forward to it, and I'm counting down the hours.

My wrist is very painful today... it's getting worse and worse and today I've got pains in my arm and fingers as well. I figure I just need a day off to rest it and not use it, but with all the work, it's been difficult to not use it. It's leaving me feeling pretty uncomfortable, especially when I type, but here I am typing anyway. I took a sleeping pill, mainly because of my nap, and how it will make it impossible for me to fall asleep naturally tonight.

I have a lot on my mind right now I guess, even though this blue pill is trying it's hardest to make it so I can't think at all. I feel anxious. I feel.
