Excessive

Alright so in the last couple days I ended up watching the final two episodes of Rocky (of the original five movie run) and I suppose I can summarize what I thought, you know... for my records.

Rocky IV

If Rocky III was starting to get silly, Rocky IV is like a cartoon version of Rocky. Evil Russians, super human strength, robot butlers... it's so unbelievable and silly. The movie is fun to watch though, so it's got that going for it, but it can't really be taken seriously as any kind of work of art. It's a mindless movie you can watch in the afternoon while you do something else.

Rocky V

This movie was terrible, although I like to believe that Stalone had good intensions when he was writing it. If Rocky IV was a cartoon version, this movie is like the animated short they play before the feature cartoon. Rocky is poorly acted and portrayed, everyone has mullets, the Don King character is a stereotype that is just uncomfortable to watch. The story was terrible, and they left out so much detail. All in all, it's the worst movie in the series, with nothing redeeming coming out of this episode.

I do intend to watch Rocky Balboa, which was 16 years after Rocky V, and 30 years after the first award winning Rocky. I want to sit down and watch it with Bekki, with my full attention, because I'm hoping it's a return to the more dramatic and interesting first movie.

Creativity

I'm having issues being creative. All I want to do is remake this blog and I want to create something I enjoy looking at and I just can't think of anything, can't decide on anything, and I'm having a lot of issues with that kind of stuff.

I'm antsy and anxious and full of energy and I don't want the day to be over but here I am laying in bed and not tired, but I'm tired and... yeah.
