Excessive

Ollie is one of the kindest, most genuine and caring person I know. He is sweet, and inclusive, and excited by everything. He is in a class with at least a couple kids at daycare who are total assholes, and constantly hit him daily. Something so bad happened today that the daycare had to call me to inform me of it, and Bekki and I went there immediately to get him. He was napping at the time, so I went back later and got him as soon as he was awake.

I won't go into much detail, but I don't know what to do. I think I'm more upset than he is, because I just want to protect him, and he seems to deal with it all pretty well. We could just keep sending him, and he keeps getting hit and pushed and touched, and we deal with it as it happens until September when he starts school. We can freak out and demand change. We can pull him and keep him home. I think Ollie would prefer to go, as he does have a lot of fun there, so I think I just need to let him dictate what happens based on his behaviour and what I can get out of him as far as having him tell me what he's feeling.

Parenting is hard because sometimes you get more upset about something involving your kid than your own kid does.
