Headaches For Days

It's hard to escape headaches. It feels like I have them more than I don't. It's such a part of my life, it's hard to describe. What I do, when I go to bed, what I do before bed, or how I wake up are constantly determined by if I have, or if I feel a headache or migraine coming. I balance taking migraine pills (which work) because I only get 10 a month, but I probably need 15. It's not really something that can be increased.

I woke this morning at 5:30 with a slicing headache. It wasn't a migraine - it's a subtle difference - so I didn't immediately prepare to take a migraine pill, but after about ten minutes of not being able to fall back asleep, I took an advil, and went downstairs to make breakfast and coffee because I knew I couldn't fall asleep right away, but maybe if I ate something and had a cup of coffee, I would feel a bit better and could sleep for another half hour or something.

I went down and made toast, coffee (with grind off to be quiet) and sat down with some Final Fantasy 14. I did some crafting quests and tried to relax, and my headache did get quite a bit better after eating. After the kids got up and I had finished eating, I went and laid in the bed for a few minutes, but didn't fall asleep and it was time to get dressed, so that's how I started my day.

For my lunch hour, I just went up into the bedroom and went to sleep for an hour.

Ollie had a better day today as the kid that always bothers him wasn't there today. He had a water day and had lots of fun. Jensen had a good day as well, and I'm very proud of how mature and intelligent he is.

Tonight was a Final Fantasy 14 night with Bekki, K2 and Ben, and we got to another dungeon, and made it further in the story. It was fun, but my headache was getting worse and worse as the night went on, and eventually I had to stop (Bekki had also stopped so it was good timing).

I'm watching TNG and writing this. Tomorrow is a pretty standard day, and then Friday we go to Niagara for the International Cold Climate Chardonnay Festival for three days.
