No Touch Applicator
There are a few things I'd like to get into tonight.. hopefully this entry will be more meaty.. yes meaty, than the previous few. I realize my writing has been complete shit as of late, but you can blame that on my brain demons... they've been punching me lately.
I was noticing that my desktop, which is wired to my router, has a much higher (or what seemed to be higher) connection speed than my wireless alternative (my laptop). I wasn't really sure if it was all in my head and today the thought popped into my head that I'd just run a speed test on the two and compare the results. Here are the results:
Desktop Wired Connection (3040.2 kbps) Laptop Wireless Connection (1086.6 kbps)
As you can see by the results, the wired connection is more than twice as fast, outspeeding even T1 lines, which is insane. Even though the wireless connection is amazingly fast, I had no idea just how fast this desktop could go... an interesting test to say the least... I guess it shows the limitation of wireless networks; however, it shows why I get no lag on my Xbox!
Speaking of Xbox:
Halo 2 has now become my life. Moreso Halo 2 + Xbox Live! I get giddy when I play, and I smile. If I'm playing alone, I just play Rumble Pit games, and I've actually came in first! One of my first games playing no less. My levels are steadily going up and it's just very satisfying to see my skill grow. When I'm not alone, that means I'm playing Team Slayer with Tanner and we've only lost one game and won all the others. Both gametypes are hilariously fun and great and super. and I haven't even mentioned the stunning single player action...

Also, I saw Death from Above 1979 the other night... and Owen left London that same night and I said goodbye and wanted to cry but didn't. I don't really want to touch more on that night because overall it sucked a nut.
There is more but it's locked all away
