Christmas Continued

grandpas.tree

So I'm sitting in the backseat of the car just pulling out of my grandpa's house, and it was all around an excellent night. Although a few things went a wee bit off schedual (ala leaving and turkey) it didn't really affect much and it was actually one of the better visits.

I guess I can start at the top of the day, considering I've got a long car ride ahead of me.. I went to bed somewhat earlier than normal last night (christmas eve) after I had finished writing the entry I made (in which I drew a christmas tree for everyone) and after Emily had gone to bed, I lost myself in an interesting movie I had never really heard of, but for some reason the idea seemed familiar like I had seen the preview but never really took notice, but it found a place to lodge itself into my brain. Anyway... I was captivated by this movie, which didn't seem VERY good or anything, but I dunno.. I'm sure you know what I mean. So after everyone had gone offline, and after I had a bath, and after I talked to Sarah Camsell on the phone (or hotvoice as I like to call her) I crawled into bed to finish the rest of the movie and relax with Tidus and Marle, who had already found their way to my bed for the night. After the movie had finished, I flipped the TV off and fell asleep instantly.. such a difficult week.. only that day did I regain the ability to comfortably walk or move my leg, so I haven't been able to clean or do anything, except just keep the kitty litter clean and even that was difficult.

I awoke late this morning... I layed in bed for a bit, kind of wondering what time it was, what the cats were up to... you know how it is.. you wake up and just lay for awhile.. but only after a short while of laying, the phone started ringing, and I knew it was my Mom, so I rushed up out of bed and grabbed the phone as quickly as I could so she wouldn't hang up. She was just calling me to check if I was awake and to tell me that she hadn't heard anything from my sister yet (my sister had to go to St. Thomas for Christmas morning to spend time with Dustins family, but since I was up anyway, I decided it would be a good time to get the hell up out of bed and maybe even get dressed or something crazy like that. I spent the majority of the time I had between when I got up to the time my Mom and Sister came to get me, was play Final Fantasy X-2 and eat a small snack of chips and coke to keep me over to when I can eat supper. I'm getting quite powerful if I do say so myself, each of my girls are in the late sixties to early seventies level, with each having a few spheres mastered. Yuna has Gunner, Whitemage and Blackmage mastered, and now I'm working a lot on getting the Berserker sphere mastered so she has some physical fight in her. Rikku has Thief mastered as well as Lady luck and most of Gun Mage (except the blue bullets) as well as a good chunk of Alchemest mastered. Payne has Warrior, most of Gun Mage, Dark knight mastered and I'm currently working on mastering Trainer. I've just been having a blast playing through the game again, because this time I'm going to be getting 100% completion, and experiment a lot more with the dress spheres. So around 1:30pm they finally showed up at my place, I packed up my laptop and ran out the door (after saying goodbye to the kitties of course).

So the trip to Hamilton went quicker than it normally feels.. I played Super Metroid a bit, some Super Mario Kart and a few other things, and eventually just stopped and listened to Bush.. the trip was over much sooner than I had thought. We got there and Normal, Christine and Angus were shoveling the drive-way and we said hello and went in. I took some pictures later on, talked a bit,

pretty.mom
played some super nintendo.. the usual pretty much. About half way through the visit, we found out that my grandpa had made a mistake and put the oven only to 180 instead of 350 so we scrammbled to find out if it was salvagable to still eat, which it was, we just had to turn up the oven and cook it for a couple more hours, so instead of eating at our normal 4:30pm, we had to wait until around 6pm, but it was worth the wait because supper was awesome. I had white meat (Turkey), mashed potatos, corn, cauliflower and broccli and some of my Mom's Scalloped Spinach (which I'm goign to get the recipe for and make a lot) and some cut up pickles and a small salad.. it was great. Everyone said they had never seen me eat qmuch. it made me feel kinda good actually. Dessert was Peach of a Torte, which is a morang and whipped cream cake, with some peach slices on the top, and I had a piece of that as well. Shortly after supper though, we packed up and got ready to leave, and here we are. I'm somewhere on the highway 403, in the dark, typing up this entry, listening to my mom and lindy talk about VCRs and other random things.

It was nice to spend the day with Family, it's something I don't really get to do anymore, and who knows for how long I will be able to. For the rest of the night, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.. I think I'm going to try to clean up the place a bit, since I've been rendered immobile by the devil cat, and so the place has kind of gone to hell considering I brought over a whole bunch of shit from the old place and it's still sitting in the living room... so maybe I'll try my best to get the place cleaned up a bit.. I think it might make me feel better and stuff, and tomorrow MY FUCKING AMAZING EMILY IS BACK!!11! i cant wait.. *sigh*

Well, I'm on the 401 now.. I'll be home soon enough, so I guess I'll finish this up.. just relax.. I'm getting a kind of a headache. Talk to you all later.
