Now I Break You... Like I Break Your Friend *points to knee*

So let's see... A few days ago I got a visa in the mail, and it just so happened that the next day two very good games were coming out... So I went to EB and purchased them. Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles was one of them. Now, as you might be able to tell from the title, this is indeed an RPG, with various Final Fantasy trademarks, but what you may not know it is more or less a party game... not story driven, nor something you'd really play all by yourself. It's something you get some friends together to play and have a blast for a few hours. I think I'll be writing a review for it once I've either gotten really far or completed the game, depending on how much I've played.

The second game I bought was Metroid: Zero Mission for GBA. Again, I'll most likely be writing a more indepth review for this game, but what I can tell you is that it's better than Fusion, which was too short, too easy, and too straightforward, but it still has the same look as fusion, which I didn't particularly care for, but the game is more like Super Metroid in that you have to explore on your own more.

So the day after I bought those two games, I quickly realized how unhappy I was with the performance of my GBA. It eats batteries, you can't see a damn thing unles you've got a 100 watt lightbulb floating over the screen (which creates glare) and the screen gets smudges faster than... than... a smudgemagnet. I was using it much more, as both the games I bought use the GBA (Zero Mission is for the GBA, while Chrystal Chronicles uses it as a controller), so I went back to EB (of course) and picked up a brand spanking new GBA SP, which comes with a built-in rechargable batter (no more buying batteries), a back lit screen that can light an entire room alone (no more need for a lightsource when I feel like playing) and it folds down into pocketsize, so not only can I carry it around much easier, but it protects the screen from smudges and scratches. Also, when I was there, they had recieved a shipment of the last copy of .Hack//Infection (which is not being made anymore) so I grabbed it before anyone else could (plus it was only twenty bucks). The game simulates the experience of an MMORPG, as well as having a deep story and an accompaning 45 minute anime DVD to ehance and go deeper in the story... and I also grabbed another Gamecube to GBA connect cable so I could play two player Chrystal Chronicles (which is what the game is all about anyway).

So lately I've been playing a lot of FF:CC with both Linzie and Ben, and it's a blast. I wish we could try 3 or 4 player, but I don't know anyone else except Vito who has a GBA and would be interested in playing... so maybe I'll ask him over to try it out. I've also been playing Zero Mission for GBA before bed, when I wake up... on the bus, at work... and I've been playing FF:Tactics Advance a lot.. a lot! since I got my SP, because it's much more enjoyable to play on a lit screen, without worrying about the price of batteries.. so I'm getting into the game more, and I know I'm close to finishing, but I want to get all the abilities and all the jobs before I beat it.. so that'll throw on a few more hours, since the average encounter/battle takes aprox. 30-40 minutes.

Oooh, I guess I should mention that Linzie and I completed Kingdom Hearts today.. yay! The ending was hard enough to be challenging, the ending didn't just come out of nowhere (FFIX anyone? FFX Anyone?), and it was fun! So.. now I want Kingdom Hearts 2, so I can see Sora and Kairi back together! One of the best rpg's for PS2 for sure. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes square games, or feels like playing an action/rpg.

Obvisouly, I've been gaming a lot, so it's hasn't given me much time to do anything else... ummm, I've finally sent in my laptop to be fixed after getting the run around from dumbass Dell computers. So, it's kinda a relief, but I really just want to get it back and working and all that... get my life straightened out and shizzle... that would be great. Also, Linzie borrowed Teresa's digital camera and took pictures of me while I was eating my pizza... here's one. Click on it to see a bigger version... if you want.. I dunno why you'd want to, as in this particular picture I look horrible, as it's not my good side! and I don't have any make up on!

Lately I've been listening to Zeromancer on my Mp3 player and when I got to bed... and a bit of KMFDM. I suppose that's it for now unless I can think of anything... nope. Goodnight.
