Am I The Ghost Upon The Stage?

I've made quite a bit of progress with my blog project, or.. as I've creativly named it, Project Blog. The backend has reached a point of functioning, where the administrator(s) can add, remove and edit articles/entries, as well as view the existing entries and any comments left on them. Also, the admin can view which accounts are currently at the site, and what they're looking at. The admin can also create new accounts, approve account submissions, suspend accounts and unsuspend accounts, as well as change the access level of any account (to normal, special or admin). When creating new entries, the author selects which privacy level the entry will carry. Public (can be viewed by anyone who visits), Semi-Private (can only be viewed by people who are logged in), Private (can only be viewed by accounts that have Special access) or Admin Only (can only be viewed by the author and anyone else that may hold admin privaledges).

I've started work on the frontend, the part that you all will see, and I've decided to use the already existing layout, modified just slightly, and completley rewritten so it functions better, works in all browsers, and loads faster. I've already completed recreating the layout, and I'm actually quite amazed how much I've improved the code. What went from a near 200 line source, I made it into about a 60 line source, and that's even adding a few things (and increasing the line count). Regardless, the days of the menu malfunctioning in the latest versions of Firefox are gone, as well as formatting and border issues on a Mac viewing in Safari (and may I apologize to anyone who uses a Mac.. I had no idea my site was so god damn ugly in Safari).

Now that I've got the HTML layout finished, I can then use those pieces of code to create the script that will run the frontend... inserting entries and comments etc. I can't really see it taking much longer (at least to get a working version to unleash for testing) and I wouldn't be surprised if it was online by the end of the month.

I'd love any ideas anyone has for features, functions or anything related.

Also, if you're interested in starting a blog using this software, let me know and I can explain to you about more of the features, as well as talk about customization.

Poodl... err.. Toodles.
