A Day of Support
I spent most of yesterday working as support for Webkore (handling trouble tickets and sales inquieries); I worked 9am to around 5pm, and only had to deal with a few tickets. While I'm not an expert on any of the material at all, I'm starting to get the hang of how to deal with things, and most things can be resolved by just submitting my own ticket to the server management company and just letting them deal with it (since we pay them money for that). One thing that I enjoyed the most was that my Knowledge Base (and articles) actually helped me a lot when it came to answering sales questions. When I first created the Knowledge Base, I added in a bunch of articles related to sales questions, quick Q and A's that would frequently get sent in, and so when someone sends in questions, I just do a search for it, and copy and paste the answer. So... woo, the Knowledge Base is already proving to be extremely useful, I can't imagine how awesome it will be when there are support-related articles in there.
