Not Sure Where I Left Off

Not sure where I left off really... but in the last few days, I've had Ally and Linzie over quite a bit, where we generally play games, watch TV, listen to music and giggle like small children. Linzie has been continuing her Resident Evil 4 game (I believe she's in her third year of attempting to beat it), and Ally and I watched Prison Break and Heroes (yay!), and we usually just giggle for hours at inside jokes only her and I would ever get because we don't even usually have to say words.

I've also recently downloaded season one of The Early Edition, a show from the mid-90's about a man who receives the newspaper a day early, and thus can read the bad things that happen and then try to fix them. It's kind of like Quantum Leap, as it has to do with a sort of time travel, and fixing problems using knowledge of what's going to happen. I also got the first season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and my god is it funny. Right now I've got the first season of the UPN show Seven Days downloading, and it's going to take awhile but I'll eventually have it. I remember really liking that show too, and of course, it has to do with time travel as well. Also, all eleven seasons of Married With Children will be done by tonight, which is awesome because I can burn all 45GB to DVD(s).

I'm so gosh darn excited to get Final Fantasy XII next Tuesday that I'm almost constantly pooping myself. I'm having a difficult time playing games recently because I know I'm just going to drop everything to play the electronic orgasm that is Final Fantasy. I have settled on playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for my dusty N64, and it's been pretty fun, except the horribly designed controllers that I have to use are so shitty that it can be annoying. The analog stick in the center is so.. gunky that it makes running around in the 3D world feel gross. Often I only walk instead of run because it doesn't bend over all the way... and it's not because they're old, because the whole.. gunky issue was a problem usually a month or so after you bought the controller.. it's just the way they're designed. I really wish there was a way to plug in Gamecube controllers into the N64.. that would be awesome. I suppose I could always get Ocarina of Time for the Gamecube, but I really don't want to since I already own the stupid gold cartridge. I've played through the first dungeon (The Deku Tree), explored around a bit (because it's been years since I actually looked around the world) and made my way to the base of Death Mountain. I've started the game over six million times, and then usually stop before the third dungeon, and I've only beat the whole game maybe twice, when I first got it, so maybe I'll be able to stick with it, and beat it before Tuesday, and then be proud that I raped Ganon in the face.

I guess that's it.. Yup! Toodles.
