I'm Really Orientated.
Yesterday I went to my program's orientation session with one Mr. Benjamin Shirley. I asked him to go with me so I wouldn't have to go alone, as I probably would've been nervous to go all by myself, and he also has a car so that makes it easier too. Anyway, the orientation was at 11:00am to 12:00pm, and it was pretty much exactly the same as the first time I went, and didn't really introduce any new information, but I felt better going to it, since now I don't have to wonder if I missed anything important or whatever. Now I just wait for Tuesday to come and I'll go to my first class at 11am in F3002, and I hope everything goes well.
After orientation, we headed to the gym to stand in line to get my campus card and bus pass, and it took about an hour to do it, which was kind of boring, and uncomfortable considering I had only eaten a yogurt in the morning and I was feeling pretty hungry. As soon as I got my card and bus pass, we fled to the car and drove to A&W and got some lunch. The rootbeer there is so freakin' good... anyway... we went to Best Buy afterward and I picked up a printer for school uses, because for one, I wanted to be able to print off my class information so I could take it with me and know where I was going and when, but also, I'm sure that in the next three years of school, I'm going to have to print something off, and on top of all of that, it's good to just have, and I don't know where my old printer went, and it was old so I didn't really care.
I'm just in the middle of doing the dishes at the moment, not only am I relaxing on these wonderful days off, but I'm doing my best to keep my living enviroment cleaned and organized, so I try to balance the two things.
I think I'm going to watch a movie after I've got the laundry on, maybe play single player StarCraft 2 at the same time or something, I dunno, it all sounds good to me. I just wish it wasn't so unbelievably hot today, again, for like the fourth or fifth day in a row. I just sit here and literally drip sweat. Not only is it uncomfortable but it's just.. UGH. UGH IS A WORD OKAY?
I've been listening to Rancid a lot lately, pretty much exclusively and non-stop, and then at night to go to bed I listen to the album Seven Swans by Sufjan Stevens.
