All Good Things
A "day off" today so to speak, a day where I didn't have to go into Windermere, and sadly, time flies, and the day is over before I know it, and here it is almost bed time, and I haven't really done much.
I woke up at 7:30am and that didn't leave me with much time to get ready, as I had to leave at 8am. I had breakfast and was out the door, but missed the Southcrest, so I had to wait a bit and catch the next bus, which didn't take too long. I still caught an Oxford on time and got to school fine.
First class was database, and it was alright... the professor actually taught for once, so that was refreshing, but it was an hour class, so it was over before it began. Second was C++ which was a helpful class... the second half anyway, because Santor explained the project that has been assigned for about a week, and went through the execution and exactly what it did and how it did it, so it's all spelled out for us, we just need to figure out the details.
After school, I took the long bus ride home, and was home around 1pm.
The afternoon was spent mostly tinkering around with some programming, and eventually by around 4pm, I walked to the grocery store to get a couple things, as it's probably my only chance for the rest of the week, so I grabbed some milk and cheese, and just some stuff that I like, that make me happy.
After I got home, I played a little bit of Disgaea 4 as I cooked dinner, which was pork tenderloin covered in a red wine sauce, mushroom risotto, asparagus and baby carrots. Once it was finished, I ate while watching an episode of Star Trek: TNG, which I stopped about halfway through just because I felt too restless. I made coffee and had a mars bar as I sat down at the computer, and continued programming and listening to the last couple episodes of the Geekbox.
Time kept on moving quickly, and it was pretty much night time, so I took the garbage to the curb and sat down to watch a movie, All Good Things, a Ryan Gosling movie that seemed interesting, based on a real life criminal investigation type dealy, and while it is weird and creepy in a way, it's kind of lacking. Well acted, but slightly boring and uneventful.
Tomorrow I've got school at 11am, so I can sleep in a bit, but then I work at 3pm, so... it'll be a long day for me tomorrow. I've been in pretty good spirits lately, especially considering how shitty life has been lately, so I hope that continues for as long as possible.
I did make a lot of progress with the work hour tracking thingy, and that did feel good, it was fun too, so I guess overall it was a productive day. I also played Disgaea 4 for about an hour, so that was fun too... As you can tell I'm having difficulty writing, and I think I'm going to stop torturing myself now.
