I can write without the aid of a sleeping pill right? Right? Alright, let's find out.

After hiding inside the house for a few days due to my cold, today was a day where I had to go outside, because I had a math quiz that I couldn't miss, so getting up and going to school was the only option.

That paragraph took me over 15 minutes to write, so I took a sleeping pill... sue me.

I woke up feeling pretty groggy - that's pretty normal - and I had a pretty standard morning. Toast and coffee for breakfast, I got dressed, got packed for school, took a benedryl and advil cold and sinus, got my halls in my pocket, and left to catch the bus.

I just had the one class today, just math, which we had a quiz in. It was on logic gates and boolean theory, and I ended up getting perfect, but it was pretty easy, so not much to be proud about. Matt wanted to go to Best Buy and wanted to convince Calen to drive us there, which turned out to be fairly easy, considering all he had to do was mention Best Buy. After class, we drove to Best Buy, browsed the games mainly, and I ended up picking up a few cheaper games, specifically... Dead Space 2 (because I enjoyed Dead Space a lot), Star Ocean: The Last Hope (because I enjoyed the last Star Ocean a lot and I like to collect hard to find jrpgs) and the new ICO and Shadow of The Collossus pack for PS3, which are those two games improved to be high res and packed as one game.

After Best Buy, Matt wanted to go to Walmart to pick up an iTunes gift card, so I once again looked at the games and picked up Dragon Quest 6 for DS, because I've wanted to collect the DQ DS games but have had trouble finding them, especially 5, which I've still yet to find.

Once finished at Walmart, we went to Pizza Hut to grab lunch, which was one of those sit in restaurants. I got a small pizza with mushrooms and a Dr. Pepper, and it was good, filling... a bit pricey for lunch, but whatever, we don't do that often, so it's all good.

When I got home, I walked up the steps and someone opened the door for me... it appeared Lindsay had been in my house waiting for me to get home! She had just climbed in one of the windows when she saw my backpack through the window, and six thousand pills on the table, she thought I either fell asleep or died and wasn't answering the door... turns out I was at Pizza Hut! I had invited her over to help fix her iPhone as trying to update it to iOS 5 the night before had fucked up her phone and it was unusable. We plugged it in and updated it and in about 1 minute it was back in working order, and she stuck around for about an hour or two putting some music on her phone, and just talking about stuff. Long time readers may remember Lindsay as a main character from this blog for about three years from 2002 to 2005, yeah... same one.

I walked Lindsay to the bus stop and said goodbye, made my way home and it was about 4pm by that point... the entire day had pretty much passed by and I've yet to do anything really, so I felt kind of weird. I cleaned up by doing the dishes and stuff, eventually sitting down to plan out my day tomorrow (which will be working on some school stuff) and didn't really do much else. I eventually made a nice beef tenderloin dinner, watched Star Trek: TNG, and finish it off with a coffee and half of a three musketeers.

The rest of the evening I kind of tried to play games but I haven't been able to sit and enjoy a game in a long time, which is disappointing, and it's actually kind of scaring me because I worry that I'm not going to ever feel relaxed sitting and playing a game. I played ICO for a bit but felt restless and had to stop, and I just played Scribblenauts on my phone for a bit. Eventually I ran a bath and moved to the living room to watch the Thursday night shows.

I work tomorrow at 5pm, so I have a few hours to work on some school stuff tomorrow, which I really need to do, and then I start my weekend of work ass-rape. I hope that it's not too bad... it feels like I just worked those 24.5 hours a day or two ago, but it's already been a week. Ugh, where does the time go... oh? I was sick the entire time? Aw.. that sucks.
