I'm Tired

I'm tired and I suppose I should be; I woke up early this morning to go to work and here it is 12:07am and I'm just starting my night time routine. Ah well, I seem to fight sleep no matter what, nine out of ten times I will choose staying awake over going to sleep, as both generally leave me feeling tired. I am tired though, and things like... writing and reading for example, feel as though I need to struggle and really concentrate to do it, and it's not exactly pleasurable.

Work was right, in that things went well and we were done early, as seems to be the pattern emerging. Jon gave me a ride to and from work, and I was home by 3pm. After work I had a snack (an amazing tomato sandwich) and read a chapter of A Clash of Kings and then headed to the grocery store for day off food.

After cleaning and tidying up the apartment, Bekki came over and we made dinner, the mexican chicken and rice dish that I... created... I guess. It's rice and chicken, with black beans, corn, green onion, salsa, tomatoes and cilantro, all mixed together. It's not really spicy but has a tiny kick to it (depending on the strength of the salsa you use) and it's always wonderful. Once we were done dinner, we had dessert, I read a bit, and eventually played SSX.

I played SSX a lot while Bekki worked on school, and then started to read again after that, eventually running a bath, and then coming into the computer room to start writing this.

Tomorrow is a day off and I don't really have a plan as to what I'll be doing, as far as I know. I guess it all depends on my mood... I know that I need to clean out the fridge, and read a lot, but I'm not sure yet if I will do more cleaning, or backyard work, or some other random things I can't even think of at this point. Who knows?

As of right now, I predict it'll be a good day. Here's hoping!
