Heatstroke

I feel obliged to write because it's been a few days and the last time I wrote I was dying of anxiety. Things are slightly better but things still feel quite off.

School today was super boring and super hot. After class Calen, Mathew and I went to Best Buy because Calen wanted to find a game, and I ended up walking away with a new iPod (beceause mine died a couple weeks ago). It's nice to have a new one to use again but painful to think of the cost.

Once I got home from school, I walked to the grocery store in the insane heatwave we've been having and picked up some stuff for dinner (canelloni and mixed greens) but when it came time to make dinner, I forgot about the salad, and just had the caneloni. I felt really out of it, really sick, and it was super hot in the apartment, and after that walk, I think I was just a bit ... over... heated. That's a thing, right?

After dinner, Bekki and I were seriously feeling sick and really shitty from the heat, and we played a game of chess but we both felt like we were going to vomit and needed more air conditioning, so we decided to run to the movies since it's cool there. We went to Westmount, and saw Ted, which was surprisingly smart and funny, and I'll perhaps write more about it tomorrow.

Now, I'm sitting on my bed, in the livingroom because it's closer to the air conditioner, and I'm sweating, and have to be up to get to work in six hours, so I better try to sleep!
