Futurethought
It's weird to think that not that long ago I was pretty much hopeless, with little thought of the future - yeah, I knew I hated my job, being yelled at and disrespected, and I knew I enjoyed programming, so my short term goal was to simply open up a new career path, but that hardly could be called a plan for a future. I had pretty much accepted the fact that I would die alone, and was okay with it, and had no plans for the future beyond continuing on and living my life day by day, enjoying the things I enjoy, and avoiding stress. Things aren't like that anymore. My mind is so full of plans for the future that it's difficult to keep track of it all, I have so many things to do, short term and long term, that I feel like I need to start making a long list so I don't forget some things.
Today was a good day, and I feel good, and also feel tired... and stuff. Wow, I'm a good writer.
I got up and had breakfast, which was a bowl of Blueberry Miniwheats, which was good. I then had two pieces of toast with peanut butter and a coffee, which was also enjoyable. I started working on school work (my java project) and did that for quite awhile, before planning a dinner list for the week, and then writing out a grocery list. Bekki and I walked to the grocery store and bought a bunch of stuff, carried it home (it was heavy) and put it all away.
We decided to go for a bike ride/rollerblade adventure... I was on the bike. I want to like... you know, be healthy once and awhile, and Bekkidy goes for workouts all the time, so I figured I'd tag along. We went for 1 hour and 9 minutes, and rode 17km. We went along the path through Springbank park, and it felt pretty good. I listened to The Comedy Button and we stopped a couple times to drink water, and I didn't feel tired until the big stupid hill at the very end of the trip. Anyway... I got a new app called MapMyRide+ which tracks your bike ride with GPS, informs you of speeds, average speeds, time and all that through your headphones as you are riding, so it's pretty cool, and of course, it maps your ride and then you can post the information to various social networks and just have it for your private records. Check it out here: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/121720975
Once home, we both showered, and I made dinner, which was fish and rice with green beans, and it was quite good. We watched an episode of Newsroom and relaxed after with some dessert (strawberries, frozen yogurt, a peach and a tiny square of mint aero). After dinner I finished my java project, and then finally came out to the living room to relax. I played Chrono Trigger for awhile, and then decided to write as a sentence popped into my head, and I needed to get it out.
Tomorrow is school... and... more school work. I want to play some games tonight but it's already late, so we'll see if that happens.
