Excessive

I've run out of sleeping pills, so I think the next few days are going to be pretty difficult - in that I won't be sleeping easily, by any stretch of the imagination. I can easily see myself not even being tired until the sun is up, and I really, really don't look forward to that. I enjoy going to bed quite early, and getting up early, and feeling normal.

For my birthday, (the night before my birthday) I had Linzie, Michelle, Ally and Mark over and we watched the first two episodes of Lost (the pilots), had a few beers, and giggled a lot. Linzie left pretty early, and then later on Cam came over and we watched funny videos and eventually a few episodes of Robot Chicken until everyone decided to leave, and I decided to pass out in bed. Overall I would say that it was a very enjoyable night, and a perfect way to spend my birthday night.

The next day I went to my Moms place for a birthday dinner... we had canenolli and a fresh, crispy salad! My Mom gave me some grocery money, some old photographs, and a very comfortable evening. I really enjoyed spending time there, and I hope my next birthday is as enjoyable.

Last night Ally and Mark came over for a Lost-athon, where we ended up watching ten episodes of Lost.. episode 106 to 116, and Ally ended up going home around 5:30am or so, and then I watched another few episodes and finally went to sleep.

We're going to have another Lost party, to watch the season finale together (123 and 124) and then get into season 2, so if anyone wishes to attend, let me know so we can make arrangements.

Tonight... is boring. Michelle went to sleep at 8:15pm, and since then I've been bored out of my mind. I watched yesterdays Daily Show and Colbert Report, and then I watched tonights episodes, and between those, I played a bit of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, beating a freakin tough ass boss (the booster-ball boss), after about six attempts.

I just had a bath, and now I'm going to watch an episode of Lost, and if I'm still not tired, I'll watch an episode or two of Sliders season one.

On a side note, I cleaned my Apple Mighty Mouse scrollwheel with rubbing alchohol and it fixed the issues I was having (it was sucking cock way too much, so I finally pulled it away from it's throbbing lollipops). It now scrolls up and down again, and I'll have to clean it once a week to keep it functioning. While that sounds retarded that something that costs $50 doesn't even work after a week, and that I have to go out of my way to make it work, it's refreshing to have it functioning again, and it's not that hard, so I don't mind, since I really like the mouse design otherwise.
