Dusty... and Tired!

Today was unlike most other days. I spent a lot of time actually out of the house, and even stranger, with my Mom. Linzie was still there though, so that kept some balance in the universe. I went to Value Village to look for black pants and black shoes for my job (which I need to wear those things) and I found some awesome pants, but no black pants or black shoes. Salvation Army and some cheap shoe store were both closed, so I was kinda screwed in that department. After Value Village, we drove to A&P and bought supper.. and some chicken fries!! They're like french fries but made of chicken! They kick ass! We also got some chicken breast and.. and... a Coke magnet!! Oh yes, this stylish and affordable peice of novelty wear doubles not only as an attractive magnet, but as a thermomiter as well! Yes, yes I know, I shit my pants too. We finished out trip with going to Wal-Mart where I picked up some plain black shoes, so it was a pretty successful trip out of the house.

I played some Final Fantasy 9 today, but not as much as I'd like to. I stopped because I felt like Linzie was bored or that I was hogging it or something I dunno, something was going through my head that was stopping me from enjoying it so I had to stop. It wasn't that bad though because I dug out my N64 (which was burried under wires behind the TV) and popped in Zelda: Ocarana of Time and let Linzie play that for a bit, beating the first major quest (the Great Deku Tree). It had been so long since I've played the game, it was great to see it in action again. I was disappointed to find out that Linzie had played through the game before because it's much more fun for me if she has no idea what she's doing and she wonders about the plot and asks questions and it's just really fun seeing her reactions to things I've already reacted to, so I can compare and so on.. oh well, it didn't really affect me that much after awhile. I'm sure playing through the game with her will be really fun. One thing that pissed me off though was that I couldn't find any of my N64 games anyway.. I wanted to play Extreme G2 but noooo, I couldn't find it anyway.. maybe Ben has it, I should find out.

After Zelda we watched the new Simpsons (Marge got breast implants) and that amused me for a half an hour and once it was over I started going through old boxes, cabinets and so on and throwing away lots of stuff, keeping some stuff and reading a lot of stuff. I read a diary I kept in 1991. Wow.. memories. They make me depressed. Most of the time anyway. It was amusing though, especially to go through my past with Linzie, although it kinda sucked because she wasn't a part of that past and it kinda leaves her out. It's like saying: Hah! I DO exist without you!! But I don't wanna exist without her.

That's enough typing for today. I'm tired, and sore and not feeling the best. I should go to sleep, but I don't wanna.. oh well, I guess I will. Overall I'd say I'm vey happy, and have been very happy for quite awhile. Thanks Linzie. Bye bye all.
