Excessive

I got up a few minutes ago... about a half hour ago. I was thinking about ways for people to talk or send messages without it being a comment on an entry (if it was unrelated) and the only two things I could think of were a private message system or a message board. I figured the message board would be more fun and more used, so I decided to make it. I chose to make it threaded, since they're a dying breed, but much easier to read, especially if the user base is small.

The best part is, I'm done. I wrote the message board script in fifteen minutes. I just need to make a layout for it. Obviously it uses your excessive rambling logins, and I'll post a link and a post about it when I've got the layout done and it's ready for posts and testing.

I know it won't be used very much, and perhaps not by anyone other than Mark and Michelle when they're at work, but it was fun to make and it.. took me less time to make it then if I were to poop.
